Liz Warren SPITS on Fox News viewers (she’s crazy!)

Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-M.A., is saying no to a televised town hall on Fox News, slamming the network as “a hate-for-profit racket that gives a megaphone to racists and conspiracists.”

In other words, Warren thinks you’re a racist, hate-filled conspiracy theorist if you watch Fox News.

Of course, several of Warren’s rivals for the Democratic presidential nomination have already held or agreed to hold town halls with Fox News, including Bernie Sanders and Pete Buttigieg.

Here’s what she said —

Fox News is a hate-for-profit racket that gives a megaphone to racists and conspiracists—it’s designed to turn us against each other, risking life and death consequences, to provide cover for the corruption that’s rotting our government and hollowing out our middle class.

But Fox News is struggling as more and more advertisers pull out of their hate-filled space. A Democratic town hall gives the Fox News sales team a way to tell potential sponsors it's safe to buy ads on Fox—no harm to their brand or reputation (spoiler: It’s not).

I’ve done 57 media avails and 131 interviews, taking over 1,100 questions from press just since January. Fox News is welcome to come to my events just like any other outlet. But a Fox News town hall adds money to the hate-for-profit machine. To which I say: hard pass.

A spokeswoman for Fox News did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez earlier this year restricted Fox News from hosting an official debate for the party, questioning the network’s ability to provide a “fair and neutral” forum.

However, an appearance could be useful to Democratic presidential hopefuls.

Rating data showed that Sanders drew more viewers to his Fox News town hall than he did for similar forums on MSNBC and CNN.
