Dems FURIOUS as Starbucks CEO teases 2020 run

Democrats across the country are furious… but there’s nothing they can do.

Ex-Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz teased the idea of running in the 2020 in the election… as a liberal independent. It has Democrats scrambling in terror — because Schultz could secure President Donald Trump’s re-election just by running.

Trump knows this, and he stoked the fire even further in one single tweet —

Howard Schultz doesn’t have the “guts” to run for President! Watched him on @60Minutes last night and I agree with him that he is not the “smartest person.” Besides, America already has that! I only hope that Starbucks is still paying me their rent in Trump Tower!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 28, 2019

It has establishment Democrats rushing to do damage control.

On CNN’s “State of the Union” new Democratic presidential hopeful Julián Castro confessed that Schultz running in 2020 would severely affect the Democrats hopes to win the White House back.

“I have a concern that if he did run, that, essentially, it would provide Donald Trump with his best hope of getting re-elected,” Castro said.

“Just the other day there was a fairly comprehensive poll taken that showed, essentially, right now, that the President has a ceiling of about 41 or 42 percent, in terms of support for him, no matter which Democratic candidate they polled against him.”

Schultz wasted no time in attacking liberal leaders.

In a stop along his book tour in New York City, Schultz lashed out at far-left popular policy currently driving the party.

“If I ran as a Democrat I would have to say things in my heart I do not believe,” he said at his book tour in New York City.

Schultz also chastised Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) for the up-and-coming liberal’s negative comments in the past about American billionaires.

The outspoken Ocasio-Cortez said bluntly that a world that allows for billionaires is immoral.

Schultz responded, calling her comments “un-American.”

Schultz’ mere entrance into the political spectrum has caused a roar—whether he’s popular or unpopular—and that unpredictability alone is raising hell for liberal Democrats everywhere.
