Fox News star Laura Ingraham went off on the mainstream media — and she broke down the real TRUTH behind President Donald Trump that the media doesn’t want you to see.
Does the above-picture of Trump signing a bill from earlier this week look familiar? Probably not… and there’s a reason why, Ingraham said.
“Now this was a scene you likely did not see on one of your local or national newcasts. The White House announcing a bold plan to change the lives in America of some of our poorest citizens. Those that live in distressed and sometimes the most dangerous neighborhoods,” Ingraham said.
“Flanked by Sen. Tim Scott and BET founder Bob Johnson, with Van Jones looking on … the president signed an executive order creating something called the Opportunity and Revitilization Council. Now, if you think this is just another brick in the bureaucracy here in D.C. that signifies nothing, think again,” she continued.
“Led by HUD Secretary Ben Carson, it will coordinate efforts across the entire federal government to deliver jobs, investment, and growth in under-privileged areas. By the way, this includes rural areas too. This means more private-sector money into some of these high risk areas or low development areas … and in turn, that will deliver jobs,” she explained.
Of course, the few reporters that were at the event weren’t interested in the actual executive order.
They just shouted questions about former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen.
And no major news network — not CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, NBC News — broadcast the event live. Why the media silence?
“Because Trump is delivering results for those who Democrats thought that they had forever co-opted politically. It all smashes the press’ relentless drumbeats about how the president just doesn’t like black people and is racist,” Ingraham said.
Ingraham went on to explain that this bill was much more significant than anything former President Barack Obama did, because it helped bring actual jobs — and the dignity that work brings to poor families — to those most in need.
It’s the exactly opposite model that Democrats use. Liberals want the poor to stay dependent on entitlements. The media says anyone that disagrees is a racist.
Meanwhile, Trump’s administration is quietly behind-the-scenes helping break down barriers keeping the poor and private investment separated.
“Who cares more about America, particularly the working poor?” Ingraham asked the audience. “The guy who delivers results – record low unemployment, opportunity zones and a decent chance for criminal justice reform? Or a party that is all talk and no action? I will take the former any day.”
“Oh, and by the way, the press did find one angle at the opportunity zone announcement that they thought was worth covering,” she said. “They said Jared Kushner and Trump himself are only pushing these inner-city investment incentives because they will make money off their own real estate holdings.”
Carson himself addressed these rumors and called them more media lies.
“These zones were picked by the governors. So they were not picked by Jared Kushner,” Carson told Ingraham. “There are all kinds of people in the country who already have real estate in those zones. Will they benefit? Probably. Why shouldn’t they benefit? Why shouldn’t everybody benefit? Why shouldn’t we create win-win situations?”
Win-win situations is how America will create sustainable, constant growth. It will reduce crime, and bring dignity back to the working poor.
Is it any wonder the media won’t show this footage?
