More than two years after voters elected Donald Trump, investigators keep uncovering new crimes committed by the corrupt regime of former President Barack Obama.
In fact, the latest example threatens the lives of everyday Americans — and comes straight out of your wallet.
What’s more, it looks like Obama got away with it scot-free!
Barack Obama illegally paid hundreds of millions of dollars to illegal aliens — including some ripe for recruitment by the criminal gang MS-13 — so they could stay in this country.
Obama earmarked $310 million in hardworking taxpayers’ money and handed it over to a group called the Vera Institute of Justice.
The Immigration Reform Law Institute uncovered high-dollar contracts issued in 2015 and 2016 for attorneys to give unaccompanied minors “Pro Bono [free!] legal representation” and “direct representation to the greatest extent practicable.”
The lawyers would also teach seminars for illegal immigrants to “Know Your Rights.”
Not only is that wasteful, it’s illegal.
Section 292 of the Immigration and Nationality Act says that illegal aliens in the process of being deported “shall have the privilege of being represented (at no expense to the Government).”
Obama just ignored the law and made you pay the legal tab for illegals… because poll after poll shows that recent Hispanic immigrants vote for Democrats by a wide margin… and Democrats know better than anybody that, yes, illegals vote, even though they’re not supposed to be in the country at all.
This lawbreaking is not just costly but potentially deadly.
“When the federal government pays for illegal alien minors to receive direct legal representation, it does more than flout the law,” said Dale L. Wilcox, IRLI’s executive director and general counsel.
These illegal payments helped underage illegals “join their families, relatives, or fellow gang members – or help them reconnect with and pay ‘pandillas,’ the criminal cartels that make enormous profits from controlling human trafficking over the southern border,” Wilcox said.
Obama presented these people, often in their late teens, as “children” fleeing for their lives. But many of them have criminal records and ties to international criminal networks inside the U.S.
More than 400,000 unaccompanied minors have been resettled inside the United States by the Office of Refugee Resettlement since 2013 – 40,000 in 2017 alone. And law enforcement says they’re a ticking time bomb.
New York ICE official Angel Melendez told President Trump earlier this year that 21,881 of those 40,000 unaccompanied minors are highly valued by MS-13.
“What I’m saying, understanding MS-13, is that they’re looking at these 21,000 unaccompanied alien children that came into those states as potential recruits to continue to fill in their ranks,” he said.
These “children” have left their deadly mark all over the country.
Of the 400 people ICE arrested while cracking down on MS-13 last year, at least 60 were unaccompanied minors. That includes 7 of 13 accused MS-13 murderers on Long Island.
“My guess is that average voters would not be pleased to know that such vast amounts of their tax dollars are being spent in aid of this giant criminal enterprise,” said Wilcox.
Of course, Vera’s lawyers provided legal services in sanctuary cities and other immigration havens – New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Phoenix, Miami.
But they also advised illegal minors in all-American cities inside swing states like Grand Rapids and Bay City, Michigan; Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; and Staunton, Virginia.
The government is so captured by the insiders that the government has already paid $232 million to Vera – and it’s likely to pay the remaining $78 million, even though Donald Trump is president and paying the bill violates federal law.
And there’s one more surprise: At the time that HHS made these contracts, one of Vera’s former directors, Christopher Stone, was president of George Soros’ Open Society Foundations.
The Deep State is so powerful—and incestuous—that one of George Soros’ cronies told Obama to fund his former employer…and the Democrats made you pay the bill to import their voters.
Donald Trump needs to cancel these contracts, deport all MS-13 members and potential recruits, and start legal proceedings against President Obama and every official involved in breaking the law with this fraudulent contract.
We the People will take our country back one prosecution at a time.
