OUTRAGE! Hillary Clinton whistleblower raided by FBI

The Department of Justice whistle blower that exposed documents on the Clinton Foundation and their Uranium One deal was raided by FBI agents last week, The Daily Caller reported.

Agents spent six hours combing through the home of Dennis Nathan Cain after getting a warrant to retrieve allegedly stolen documents.

Cain famously shared secret documents from inside the Justice Department that showed cooperation between the Clinton Foundation and Rosatom, the Russian energy company behind the Uranium One deal.

The deal happened while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State, and critics said it was a clear conflict of interest for Hillary.

By sharing the documents, Cain was legally protected from federal retaliation – but his lawyer says the FBI violated that law by raiding his home.

“The bureau raided my client to seize what he legally gave Congress about the Clinton Foundation and Uranium One,” the whistleblower’s lawyer, Michael Socarras, said. He told The Daily Caller that he “considered the FBI’s raid to be an ‘outrageous disregard’ of whistleblower protections.”

The documents Cain gave the Justice Department also allegedly contain information on special counsel Robert Mueller, then the FBI’s director, that showed he failed to investigation the Uranium One deal.

The raid happened on Nov. 19th in Union Bridge, Maryland, The Dailly Caller reported. The FBI has declined to comment on the case.

Cain was forced to hand over the documents in his possession, despite following legal chain-of-command regarding the sensitive information, Cain’s lawyer said.

“After asking and getting my approval to do so, [Department of Justice Inspector General] Michael Horowitz had a member of his staff physically take Mr. Cain’s classified document disclosure to the House and Senate Intelligence committees,” the lawyer told The Daily Caller.

“For the bureau to show up at Mr. Cain’s home suggesting that those same documents are stolen federal property, and then proceed to seize copies of the same documents after being told at the house door that he is a legally protected whistleblower who gave them to Congress, is an outrageous disregard of the law,” he said.
