Warning: New Bin Laden threat emerges

A U.N. panel has sent a serious new warning regarding the next big Islamic terror threat that could strike both Iraq and Syria — led by the son of Osama bin Laden.

A report released by U.N. experts claims that although the Islamic State was defeated in those two countries in 2017, radical Islamic terror hasn’t been defeated.

As America focused most of their attention on ISIS, Al Qaeda was able to fall into the background. That has allowed the bin Laden terrorist network to become stronger than ISIS in some places, the U.N. experts say.

The report found that ISIS is in the process of moving from “a proto-State network to a covert network” and its leadership is still completely intact under Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi.

Although the terror group is still together, Al Qaeda is rapidly taking the reigns back in international terror and is considered more resilient than ISIS. They are now stronger than ISIS in Somalia, Yemen, and South Asia, according to Fox News.

Their leadership has even increased in Iran.

Following the death of bin Laden in 2011, Al Qaeda quickly fell under the radar in the War on Terror. But, as noted by the report, bin Laden’s son — Hamza bin Laden — has “continued to emerge as a leadership figure in Al Qaeda,” the report said.

“Al Qaeda’s leadership demonstrates strategic patience and its regional affiliates exercise good tactical judgment, embedding themselves in local issues and becoming players,” it said.

The U.N. panel also suggested that the “improved leadership and enhanced communication will probably increase the threat over time, as will any rise in the tendency, already visible in some regions, of [ISIS] supporters to join Al Qaeda.”

Earlier this month, The Guardian reported that, “Hamza bin Laden, the son of the late [Al Qaeda] leader, has married the daughter of Mohammed Atta, the lead hijacker in the 9/11 terror attacks, according to his family.”

During an interview with The Guardian, Hamza’s half-brothers explained they believe their brother has plans to avenge the death of his father.

It’s a chilling warning that terrorists still seek to destroy America.
