Omarosa had an unhinged freak out Monday (video)

President Donald Trump’s former aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman appeared on NBC News’ “Today” show on Monday morning… but the conversation did not go well between her and host Savannah Guthrie.

Omarosa was on the show to promote her new tell-all book called “Unhinged.” She has made headlines recently when she released secretly taped conversation within the White House regarding her firing.

Clearly irritable and annoyed over the interview not going as she had expected, Omarosa abruptly cut the interview short because she had another interview. However, she had just claimed she has “got all the time you need.”

The appearance began with Guthrie playing the secret, potentially illegal recordings from inside the White House and then plugged the former aide’s new book… but things quickly took an awkward turn when Guthrie stopped pandering and started asking real questions.

Watch the bizarre interview here —

Guthrie asked Omarosa if she believed Trump was lying about not knowing that Kelly had fired her.

“I’m not sure,” she responded. She went on to ask rhetorical questions about why she believed Kelly allegedly mistreated her.

Guthrie attempted to regain control of the interview, but Omarosa fired back, “I’ll get to the second part.”

Clearly stuck on the “they” Trump had reportedly mentioned in his phone call with Omarosa, she went off on another tangent saying,“Wait, Savannah. Who is the ‘they’ in the tape? You can’t ask the question and then ask another question without my answer! You asked me, ‘Do you think he knows?’”

Guthrie responded, “You said you’re not sure.”

Guthrie tried to ask follow-up questions… but Omarosa was already furious. “Savannah, slow down, I’m gonna [answer] your question, don’t worry… I’m here. I’ve got all the time you need. You don’t have to ask 10 questions in one second. It’s OK.”

Attempting to take the interview in a different direction, Guthrie then went on to ask how Omarosa was able to secretly record Kelly. Omarosa responded she would leave it up to people’s imagination.

Guthrie responded, “Why be coy?”

“I’m not being coy. I’m being very clear here,” the former Trump ally said, dodging the simple question.

“Calm down,” Omarosa said, oblivious of her own irritable behavior.

After continuing her anti-Trump rhetoric for another five minutes, an irate Omarosa sai: “You know… we have an interview right after this. I know you want to go with more time… you see the time.”

Guthrie asked Omaroa what time she needed to leave.

“You know that it’s a seven-minute interview. Now we’re at 10,” she replied. “The book comes out tomorrow, all of this is in the book!”

Guthrie offered for the former aide to stay a little longer because she had a stack of more questions to ask.

“I’m not afraid but I do… I have an interview right after this with someone else,” Omarosa replied, cutting the interview off.
