The New York Jets and Washington Redskins players held a joint practice session on Sunday that turned ugly real quick.
A fight broke out between players after Jets player Stephen Whyno reportedly delivered a late hit to Redskins offensive lineman Morgan Moses.
The brawl even spilled over into the section were fans were standing and watching the practice.

According to USA Today NFL reporter Mike Jones, Redskins player Trent Williams was seen “throwing haymakers” during the fight.

Bleacher Report reported that, “Moses was ushered off the practice field and was limping on his right leg. The 27-year-old underwent ankle surgery in January.”
After the brawl, Jets coach Todd Bowles expressed his disappointment saying, “If they wanted to be boxers and wrestlers, they’d probably be in another sport.”
He added, “We’re trying to get better. They’re trying to get better. Some things happened — overzealousness. I’ll talk to my guys. [Washington] Coach [Jay] Gruden will talk to his guys and we’ll have better practices because that’s just a waste of time to me.”
The teams will face off in a game on Sunday, but before then — they have two more days of joint practices to hold.
Fans better come prepared if they plan to attend those practices.
