CNN humiliated by “pee tapes” (must see!)

As CNN continues to focus all their energy on porn stars, Russian “witch hunts” and FBI raids, former FBI Director James Comey has given them a new opportunity to fantasize about stories that never happened.

The infamous Steele dossier — that the fake news cannot get enough of — mentions the unproven rumor that President Donald Trump allegedly watched prostitutes urinate on one another in a Moscow hotel room.

The ludicrous claim was not given much media attention until Comey gave the claim new life during his interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos.

The mainstream media jumped on it. Now that their story on porn stars is dying down, it seems “pee tapes” is the new order from on-high? According to the Media Research Center, CNN broadcasts that aired between a five-day span of April 12-16 mentioned the absurd claim 77 times.

“The cable network feverishly replayed a clip of Comey repeating the allegation to ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, which constituted 28 of those instances. April 13 featured a particularly steady stream of mentions: 48 in one day, for an average of one every 30 minutes,” claimed the MRC.

“I honestly never thought these words would come out of my mouth, but I don’t know whether the current president of the United States was with prostitutes peeing on each other in Moscow in 2013,” Comey told ABC News.

Trump, who is a germaphobe, has repeatedly denied these claims and insisted he is grossed out by them.

But a complete lack of evidence hasn’t stopped CNN from mentioning the story an average of twice per hour, according to MRC.

“For the purpose of this study, a mention was defined as any allusion to the most graphic aspect of the rumor,” MRC’s Bill D’Agostino wrote. “Thus a clip in which James Comey merely mentioned Russian prostitutes would not have factored into the study. Rather, analysts looked only for phrases such as ‘prostitutes urinating on each other,’ ‘the pee tape,’ and, of course, ‘golden showers.’”

CNN’s constant chasing of unproven, outrageous Trump stories has shown they hold quite an obsession with the president. Their constant reporting on the “pee tape” even suggests that the fake news network may hold an obsession for the disturbing details of the alleged encounter.

The Hill reported on March 30 that “CNN’s warped obsession with reporting about supposed adultery demonstrates a larger problem at the once-proud and groundbreaking channel. CNN’s focus is not on news, but on distracting itself and the nation’s news consumers with peripheral and sensation gibberish that fails to enhance the national dialogue.”

For a network that claims to be, “the most trusted name in news,” their constant dwelling on Trump’s alleged short-comings makes believing that slogan tough for most Americans.

CNN has lost their way, and continues to lose their audience. Americans want the news, not rumors aimed at making middle schoolers giggle.
