Megyn Kelly attacks Bill O’Reilly (she said WHAT!?)

Former Fox News star Megyn Kelly has badly struggled with ratings since she signed a jaw-dropping $18 million dollar contract with NBC — so she’s doing everything she can to get herself back in the headlines.

On Monday, Kelly went after former Fox News star Bill O’Reilly… and she didn’t hold back.

On her struggling NBC morning show, Kelly says she complained to her bosses about O’Reilly’s behavior after she had accused former Fox chief Roger Ailes of sexual harassment, and demanded that the abuse and shaming of women has to stop.

Kelly’s statement came after The New York Times reported that O’Reilly had reached a $32 million settlement agreement with former Fox analyst Lis Wiehl shortly before O’Reilly’s contract was renewed in February.

O’Reilly responded, saying he’s being attacked for political purposes and that it’s been a “horror show” for him and his family.

On former Fox News colleague Glenn Beck’s radio show Monday, O’Reilly said that he could not discuss specifics about former analyst Lis Wiehl’s case. He said The Times hates him and is intent upon keeping him out of the marketplace. There was no immediate comment from the newspaper.

I'm not going to run and hide because I didn't do anything wrong. NYT wants to take me out of the marketplace, second time they attacked me.

O’Reilly also said that it was “incomprehensible” that his former colleague Megyn Kelly would speak out against him, saying that “I helped her dramatically” in her career.

He posted online an undated thank-you note Kelly had written to him for giving a gift at a baby shower.

O’Reilly also admitted he wasn’t handling the separation from Fox News as well as he could.

“You know, am I mad at God? Yeah, I’m mad at Him. I wish I had more protection. I wish this stuff didn’t happen,” O’Reilly said while hosting his webseries, “No Spin News.” “I can’t explain it to you. Yeah, I’m mad at Him.”

O’Reilly also said of of his adversaries in the liberal media: “If they could literally kill me, they would.”

Who do you like more: Bill O'Reilly, or Megyn Kelly?
