Sweden’s Christmas Goat — a giant decorative goat made of straw and wood — didn’t last long on its 50th anniversary.
The straw goat, an annual Yuletide tradition in the city of Gavle since 1966, went up in flames just hours after it was inaugurated on Sunday.
Arsonists just cannot stay away from the giant decoration, which seldom survives the season without someone trying to burn it down.
The local newspaper Gefle Dagblad said it was set on fire late Sunday.
A webcam run by the local tourist office showed the frame of the goat was still standing but all the straw was gone.
There was no immediate word on possible suspects.

Try moslims! They hate the idea of Christmas!
So did the Puritans. They outlawed it when they were in power.
Yeah must have been Puritans, you a Hillary voter ?
Probably, they already said they were going to.
Bunch of EFFING lowlife’s. They need an attitude adjustment, they probably are Muslim it wouldn’t surprise me one damn bit. Piece of low life scum, lower than whale shit.
When I see such tragedy–I confess that I am ashamed to belong to the human race-with so many wierdos out there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Christians in the world need to wake up, especially in America. In America we have taken far too much for granted and have not suffered anywhere near to the degree our brothers and sisters around the globe have. I don’t think Christians in this nation will wake up, not until we start to suffer the things our brethren around the world are suffering now. The Cross’s being torn down, people being imprisoned and killed for holding to their faith, and now we have the liberal left pushing against Christians as a hate religion.
We all need to pray all Christian for a world with god o dear lord give us the strength god bless us
Burn those who perpetrated the crime.
All religions and nationalities should be banned.
