It’s the right of every American to feel safe in your own home, but a recent viral video shows that right is in jeopardy.
Police arrested two teen girls Thursday after a Facebook video showing a disgusting attack on a 61-year-old man in front of his own home in Syracuse, New York went viral.
The man reported that he politely asked the group to leave his property Wednesday before the recorded confrontation began.
In retaliation for being confronted, the teens apparently retaliate with a vicious assault.
The shocking video shows one of the girls punching the man in the face. As he attempts to chase after her, he is thrown down by another girl as onlookers howl with laughter and one films the attack.
The man continues an to chase the girl, but stumbles, losing his cane and falling to the ground.

The video gained so much attention that the victim reported he has been contacted by relatives in Ireland to make sure he is okay.
The senior suffered a bruised eye, but luckily is otherwise unharmed.
The two girls, aged 14 and 15, face third-degree assault charges. The mother of one girl told WSTM that she wants to apologize to the man and her daughter is facing the appropriate punishment for what she did.
Typical, they do these things when there are many of them and only (1) victim, cowards, talk about racism… They need to tangle with some “Good Ole Red Necks” and get a attitude adjustment.
Then “All we hear is how they are abused” give us a break.. They have choices, just like anyone else, but they would rather create problems.. The rest of us are over it, don’t try to lay guilt trips on others just because you are too lazy to find your own way. Disgusting! If the handicapped man was of a different demographic then the U.S. Attorney General would be sending many agents to investigate. He probably has lived in that neighborhood for years. 61 isn’t that elderly these days. However, he looks like he is handicapped. Would like to see them try and tackle a big Marine, but they never would. Cowards always bully people weaker than they are. They are weak, alright….in the mind. I live in Syracuse, NY and this crap goes on in this city every day. The cops don’t do anything about it. The police chief, Frank Fowler, once said, “It’s not the police’s job to investigate crimes. The public has to come forward and give us information”. The mayor doesn’t care either. In fact, crime has skyrocketed since the current mayor, Stephanie Miner, took office in 2010. The police actually has to call her and get permission to respond to calls, make arrests, even write traffic tickets. This man should sue those brats parents and the city for violation of his civil rights.
When I see something like this it breaks my heart, and the first thought that comes to mind is…were is mom and dad? what ever happened to home teaching and discipline? Have anyone ever told this young ones that THEIR conduct reflects THEIR parents character and consideration towards others? I sincerely hope that ALL parents involved on this incident take corrective action and discipline this young girls, and boys alike, before is too late, they deserve better, much better than this because our children’s lives are just too precious to waste! God help this families.

with me because they decided to do it
the way they do it in prison. Same way
it was done in the movie. When one gets tired, a fresh one drops in. After the 4th one went down, the 2X4 was used from behind. I was left for dead
because, by then, we’d drawn a crowd.
That was 6/29/75. I became aware of
myself again 9/5/75, miraculously, according to the doctors. I was supposed to die within 6mo they told
my family. Apparently we Scots are “verra” hard headed (multiple skull fractures).
It took 3yrs to recover. Other than deaf
in my right ear, and 6-8mo amnesia, I came back fully. I now hold 3 BA’s from Cal State Northridge (Chemistry, Environmental Biology, and Medical Technology). I lived in a 1971 Chevyvan while working full time, and going to school. You have no idea how nasty LAPD can be if you have to live on the street in order to be able to afford to go to school. It seems God had other plans for me, as I just retired after working 32yrs as a Medical Technologist in the clinical laboratory of a VA hospital in LA.
While the 6 on 1 attack was unprovoked, sometimes good can come from evil if you survive it, rely on God, and NEVER give up on yourself.
Self Defense against a Disparity of force is justifiable homicide. The Senior was on his own property and didn’t require a “license to carry.”
