Ted Cruz says he’s voting for Donald Trump for president — a surprising about-face after he failed to give a formal endorsement at this summer’s Republican National Convention.
The Texas senator says on Facebook that he made the decision for two reasons. First, his promise to support the Republican nominee. And second, his belief that Democrat Hillary Clinton is “wholly unacceptable.”
The announcement was a bit of a stunner, since the Texan was booed lustily during a floor speech at his party’s convention for urging Republicans to “vote your conscience” without naming Trump.
Cruz finished second to Trump in a bitter primary, but now seems intent on circling the wagons and helping the GOP defeat Clinton.

I’m willing to wager that there have been some serious back-channel negotiations between Cruz and Trump for the last few weeks. Mr. Trump isn’t stupid, he knows he needs Cruz’ hardcore voters to win the election. Even with this announcement a few Cruz supporters will hold out. But this is bare knuckles politics. I’m glad for the both of them that they have come to some sort of agreement. Now let’s get this thing done!!
Glad to hear Cruz will endorsed Trump. It was a tough primary, and many insults were thrown back and forth. But at least Cruz puts his country ahead of his own hurt feelings like some other Republicans. He knows the dangers of an elected Hillary Clinton!

Well, Ted is nothing if not a realist–he can see the damage he did to himself in going against his promise to support the Republican nominee. Well better late than never, I guess.
So glad that Ted Cruz is finally honoring his word. However, Dan Patrick who was his Campaign chairman here in Texas and has now agreed to be Donald Trumps Campaign manager said that Ted Cruz better get on board or he would definitely be left behind here in Texas!!! He has a very formidable Republican who would run against him and win, hands up. So he is doing this only because all of us who supported him would now vote against him!!

The Clinton foundation has received 3/4 of it’s donations from Saudi Arabia & other middle eastern countries. If Hillary is elected they will be looking to get a return on their investments.
The skinny on Cruz is he is supporting Trump because he wants his polls to go up so he can get reelected, he is a piece of shit YES man and for real he hates Trump but it is possibly good at least he’s not voting for Hillary
