Elizabeth Waffle of Milan, Michigan believes in liberal causes. She’s allowed to.
And while money is tight for the 88-year-old widow, she donates to Democratic politicians when she can. She’s allowed to do that, too.
But what she says she DEFINITELY did not do is give $150,000 to left-wing candidates over the past five years.
Waffle, who lives in a rough-looking trailer after losing her home a couple of years ago, says she doesn’t have anywhere near that kind of money.
But ActBlue, a popular fundraising platform for Democrats, is allegedly claiming Waffle has been making approximately eight donations a day for half a decade — most recently donating heavily to Michigan U.S. Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed.
This is the same ActBlue that has faced accusations of fraudulent donations and funneling foreign money into U.S. elections — and the same ActBlue whose CEO repeatedly invoked the Fifth Amendment when pressed on these issues in a Congressional hearing.
