Sources: THIS man will be Trump’s VP

July 11, 2016 By: Stephen Dietrich

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has vetted and interviewed at least a half-dozen potential vice presidential nominees.

Reports say he appears to have chosen one — Indiana Gov. Mike Pence.

“Indiana Republicans are anticipating that Donald Trump will pick GOP Gov. Mike Pence as his running mate and purportedly have plans in place if Pence drops his re-election bid to become the vice presidential nominee,” Fox News reported Monday, citing Indiana Republican sources.

The rumors are credible, and if true Trump will make the announcement in just a few days. Pence is up for re-election in Indiana, but would have to drop his bid by Friday if he plans to accept a vice presidential nomination.

Indiana Republican insiders are acting like that is already the case and are lining up to prepare for Lt. Gov. Eric Holcomb, Pence’s gubernatorial running mate, to take over the bid for the governorship shortly. According to Fox News. “A GOP state committee member who asked for anonymity because he is not authorized to speak publicly on the issue said: ‘Every indication that has been given to members of the… committee is that Pence getting picked is a very real possibility.'”

Trump is scheduled to appear with Pence at a major fundraiser later this week. Pence is listed as a host of Tuesday’s Indianapolis event on an invitation, and a Pence spokesman confirmed the governor’s plans to attend the private fundraiser. Tickets range from $2,700 per person to $250,000 per couple.

Pence is also set to appear with Trump at an Indianapolis-area rally after the fundraiser, where some political analysts are speculating the announcement could be made.

Pence has strong backing among many evangelical leaders in the Republican Party, but faces a difficult re-election battle in Indiana, due in part to his support for socially conservative policies.

Not a bad choice. A female governor or congresswoman would be good to offset Hillary’s circa 1974 sexist rhetoric.

As far as experience & track record, Rick Perry, Texas Gov. for 14 yrs., would be the obvious choice. Created 2.5 million jobs for the 12th largest economy in the world. Very presidential presence, speaks with conviction, constitutional conservative, is for smaller government, balanced budget, cut taxes, great on national security & border patrol, can get around congress & help Trump.
Research his speeches on YouTube. Newt would be ideal as Senior Advisor.
A Trump-Perry ticket would make America the Greatest ever!

Former Texas Governor Rick Perry would. E the best choice of running mate for Donald Trump. A Trump-Perry ticket is a balanced slate of North-South, East-West, both are from large populated states & are key states with a lot of electorial votes. Donald Trump from New York State, Rick Perry from Texas. That ticket will give Donald Trump all 9 Northeast region states, all 6 Great Plains states, all 8 Rocky Mountain region states, all 5 Pacific region states, the entire 8 state Southeast region, half of the South Central region and almost every Midwest region state. Hitlery would only win Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Illinois, maybe Missouri in November if the damned Clinton’s
don’t fix & rig the election.

Rick Perry is the one who mandated HPV vaccines. A lot of children’s lives was and is ruined from a corrupt politician. Perry is like another Obama or Hillary. Control with forced vaccinations….
Perry appointed the people at the office where the smart meters were mandated and Perry didn’t help us. They forced us to have smart meters along with many others whom, did not want smart meters….
Rick Perry sold us out along with other politicians…………..Ron Paul would be the better candidate…

The Key is an honest person and a person of integrity one that if any reason need be could run the government in tune with Congress and Paul Ryan as Speaker of the House. Gov. Pence seems to be an excellent choice and have those kind of values and he comes from the Midwest which I think is important. Donald would need a level head to assist him on important programs and one that knows how to run a state. Other than that I like Chris Christy and believe is ability would be a good second. As for Rick Perry, to machismo, to high strung. He is popular in Texas with conservatives but how would he do in DC? Wasn’t Rick Perry for a super highway to Canada where imports could be run from Mexico and China to Canada…..what ever became of the toll road idea where truckers said they were against it…..?
My other choice is Huckabee he is a southern Governor and is very sensible and has the ear of many listeners on Fox and other media stations. He would get along fine with foreign diplomats and is very down to earth./

      July 11, 2016 at 3:56 pm

Pence is an excellent choice, mature, proven Conservative record, and a Washington outsider. It would be a big mistake to follow the Democrat party’s foolishness of selecting a “first” this or a “first” that, as if that’s a rational criteria for selecting someone to lead the nation. So obsessed with this idea of electing a “first, we now have a “first” mongrel, closet Mohammedan, crypto communist, anti-American, anti-Western Civilization, anti-Caucasian, anti-Christian, non-Natural Born citizen, narcissist, psychopathic liar, who was ushered into the Whitehouse by an adoring and fawning media and a large segment of the empty-headed electorate. Now, they want another “first,” and many in the media and electorate are willing to elect a pathological liar and criminally insane woman to be President of the United States of America. Yes, that is the state of the much discredited and shameful Democrat party, the media, and many who vote. Under their “first” criteria, Charles Manson or one of his cult followers would win the Democrat Presidential Primary in a landslide were they out of prison. On this note, I understand that some in the Democrat Party are presently lobbying to allow criminals in prison to vote, so old Charlie might yet have a shot at being but another Democrat “first.”
Ah, the party of “firsts” and transformations, ever spiraling progressively downward toward the bottom of the pit to feed their unquenchable, guttermenchen appetites for filth, indecency, corruption, insanity, criminality, lawlessness, Godlessness, and evil.

Thankfully, the Republican Party has still maintained a more rational selection, albeit trying to compete for the “first” criteria with some women candidates on occasion. The only time that a woman should run for President or serve in combat roles in the military is when there are no real men left to serve. The Mohammedans have one thing right in that they still recognize the proper role of the sexes, and I don’t mean their extreme demeaning and treatment of women, which is barbaric and has no place in civilized nations. Mohammedans rightfully see Western Civilization as a decayed and effete civilization that has sunk into feminization and sexual perversions (homosexuality and transgenderism) ripe for domination, submission, and conquest, and their biggest weapon against Western Civilization is political correctness and using it to gain footholds into every aspect of our lives. What they fear most is someone like Donald J. Trump, a real man, who stands up and fights against all the PC and pathetic apologies for America and its values.

VOTE FOR TRUMP AND AMERICA FIRST AND BRING SANITY AND VALUES BACK TO MAKE AMERICA FREE AND GREAT AGAIN!

    • Rosech says

      July 11, 2016 at 12:42 pm

Newt is not viable because we are trying to get away from politicians! Joni Ernst has become one of the two latest RINOS: Joni Ernst and Tom Cotton. We keep electing them on what they say and not who they are really are and really think and really do! We must do due diligence! Look back several years and way beyond what they say. So Joni was in the service, good for her, but obviously not for America. Ditto Cotton. More politicians after the almighty donor dollar and then ignore us and we get the same old, same old. Trump needs a younger and knowledgeable man or women as VP because VP’s are mostly just “face” for the president. I would like to see Carson as our Surgeon General, Giulianni as head of whatever where we need real police and not militarized police, Allen West, Sara Palin and not because she is a woman but has been a 1 person band for America while others were not. Gowdy as Attorney General (DOJ) because he knows how to prosecute!, and others that are also viable. Pence does not have a great record, and never Newt. We need those who truly have good backgrounds, love America, and have spoken up loud and clear. No one is perfect, but let Trump make the decision because he will be the Commander in Chief and will direct his selections! Now, the real problem is to keep any DNC candidate out of the WH to avoid America’s takeover and dumped into the One World Government/New World Order which is on the DNC’s agenda since 1963! Have states all require photo IDS like driver’s licenses (or maybe even Costco cards), use only Absentee Ballots that you complete, tear off your receipt of the Ballot, put in envelope, sign and date and personally drop it in the Ballot Box at any polling station. As an ongoing election officer, this is the safest way. Not mailed in Absent Ballots as they seem not to be “delivered” or “lost”. Never computers, ask for a paper Ballot at the polling station and drop it in the Ballot box yourself – in other words don’t trust anyone in today’s world when voting. Make sure your votes are NEVER AGAIN SENT OUT OF AMERICA TO BE COUNTED! We must count in our own districts/states and never allow Soros nor his companies in other countries to touch our votes as was done the last time and we never knew who really won except the communists! Be prepared for nasty and violent protests in Cleveland against Trump and possible martial law being declared and this means we must overthrow this rogue administration paying for all the protests and police murders because Obama’s want a militarized police. Be prepared to win back our America in any way we can.

i agree completely with your assessment.
It is those who simply vote, collect their “I’m stupid” sticker, then go home that will be the death of America and Americans; our “civic duty” does not end at the ballot box but when we are certain that our votes are COUNTED ACCURATELY.

Once upon a time, a fella said this:

“It is enough that the People know there was an election. Those who vote decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything.”

        Know who said that?

      Absolutely right about Newt, Jeff.

He has WAY too much baggage; can you imagine the Klinton attack ads?
Does anyone remember what Newt did? From Wiki:

“Eighty-four ethics charges were filed by Democrats against Gingrich during his term as Speaker. All were eventually dropped except for one: claiming tax-exempt status for a college course run for political purposes.[76] The House officially reprimanded Gingrich (in a vote of 395 in favor, 28 opposed) and “ordered [him] to reimburse the House for some of the costs of the investigation in the amount of $300,000”.[77][78] It was the first time a Speaker was disciplined for an ethics violation.[79][80]

Additionally, the House Ethics Committee concluded that inaccurate information supplied to investigators represented “intentional or … reckless” disregard of House rules.[81] The Ethics Committee’s Special Counsel James M. Cole concluded that Gingrich had violated federal tax law and had lied to the ethics panel in an effort to force the committee to dismiss the complaint against him.”
      +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
This, on top of his willing and active participation in the Council on Foreign Relations(the “think tank” representing the world’s wealthy) and his Bohemian Grove membership(where a Canaanite god, Molech(Moloch?), is worshipped)? The boy has MAJOR baggage that would make him an EASY Klinton target.

there is no doubt Newt is the most qualified candidate for VP and would have no problem with his selection, I would encourage it but, he may hurt Trump with his baggage/morality, (wife’s situations). Make him chief of staff. I believe Jeff Sessions would be an outstanding pick, gov’t experience, good reputation and well respected and liked. Pence does absolutely nothing for the ticket, he does not help Trump in the polls, he will win Indiana regardless of Pence. If Trump is looking for help in the polls to win a necessary state, Kasich may be the candidate he has experience and some appeal to democrats and moderates/progressives. Would not be my choice but, I am sure Trump could work with him and he could help in congress.
Regardless who his running mate is, Trump needs to win if we have any hope of saving this country although it may be to far gone already thanks to Obama and all the liberals and Rino’s.

IOW, Newt is a globalist, an ally of the NWO/OWG, and like LBJ, would not hesitate to give Trump the “Kennedy Treatment” so he could take over.

That said, if Trump chooses Newt, the move might give the globalists an excuse to stop opposing his presidency. OTOH, if Trump does get elected with Gangrenich as Veep, a smart move would be to keep that VP under intense, 24/hr/day scrutiny at all times.

There is a team that will not be defeated this coming November. Two warriors in the White House; One, a financial and business genius and guru, and Two, a Veteran warrior of the Sword. Both with the same purpose and goal. That the needs of the American people are FIRST and FOREMOST on THEIR AGENDA, not the wants of the parasites of the world.

The two men are Donald J. Trump and Lt. Col. Allen West: Our George S. Patton, Douglas MacArthur, Dwight D. Eisenhower, and Black Jack Pershing of TODAY.

REPUBLICANS THAT DO NOT VOTE ELECT DEMOCRATS.

BIG PICTURE: If we as a people wish to maintain that which we now take for granted, we have to think beyond 8 years. In my opinion, the Vice President should not be the Presidents water boy. But, that person, man or woman, should be an integral part of the Executive branch. The VP should be viewed as in a priming stage with many viewpoints near to almost the same as the President. So that, the VP, when it is time, can take over from the President. I’m seeing an Allen West Presidency in 2024/2028 after 2 successful terms as Donald Trump’s VP.

Newt Gingrich would be the best choice by far. He is tremendously intelligent and knowledgeable as to how one functions with Congress. He thinks things through thoroughly and would be a great asset to Donald Trump. He is the most impressive and honorable politician and is extremely well known and respected He will appeal to a wide variety of voters. The Governor from Indiana is not well known and would not help in any way. If he is having trouble being reelected in his own state, he would certainly not be an asset or help to Mr. Trump. There is no need to take on a questionable politician instead of one who is tremendously respected nationwide. I am an 80 year old lifelong Republican and care very much to see Donald Trump elected. I find it fascinating just how many of the Trump zealots have no idea who Mike Pence is or what his experience includes. Don’t get me wrong – I’m really glad to see how many people who have never followed politics before are engaged in this election. (Sadly, many of those are Sanders supporters.) But if you’re one of those new to the political realm, that fact that you don’t know who Pence is says more about you than it does about him.

Trump has said he wants someone who understands the workings of Congress, so why would he choose a sitting governor? Because Pence was a US Representative for 12 years, one of the key conservative leaders, frequently spoke in support of the TEA Party issues and at associated gatherings. He has been on the short list of people who many conservative voters would be very happy to see in the White House.

I don’t personally identify as conservative – depending on the measure, I’m probably more aligned as a libertarian, anarcho-capitalist, or (probably most accurately) strict Constitutional Originalist. I don’t have a first choice for president this election. Trump wouldn’t even be in the top 10, but it’s far too late to be concerned with who I think would be best. We’re now at the point of determining which of the available choices would be most effective (or least damaging). Given who we have to choose from, that means Trump needs to be the next president. The “Never Trump” crowd needs to identify who they want to be president and how they’re going to make that happen…please bring facts, not just wishful thinking. The reason Gary Johnson has no chance has nothing to do with whether or not he’d be included in the last debates – it’s because he’s not suitable. The practical choices are between two people, and only two. The next president will be either Clinton or Trump. Those who vote based on emotion may vote Clinton regardless of what facts are known about her failures as a Senator and as Secretary of State, not to mention personal failures too numerous to list. They will never be convinced with logic or facts to change their minds because they didn’t make their choice based on logic or facts. Although the ballot may have more choices listed, the choice is between Clinton and Not Clinton. Anyone who doesn’t vote for Trump is voting Clinton, no matter what arguments they choose to make otherwise. Yes, Glenn Beck, that includes you.

Kasich would never agree to run as Trump’s VP, although taking that position would probably be the best thing he could do politically. If Trump does get elected, there is no doubt that he will either be impeached or resign during his first year so the VP will become the real president for most of the next four years.

    • Desert Lion says

      July 11, 2016 at 4:03 pm

I rather doubt Kasich would do anything to win Ohio. Sure, there are people in this state who have no idea about what he’s done in office, and those clueless voters put Kasich ahead in the primary, but he still didn’t get a majority of the vote. Even if Kasich would agree to run on the ticket, Trump would be a fool to select him. I don’t think Trump is a fool.

Besides, all this talk about VP is interesting but irrelevant. People don’t vote for president based on the VP candidate. The media loves this as a talking point, but the reality is that it’s the top of the ticket that wins or loses. Think of all the people who saw Palin as a brilliant choice for McCain. They were right, of course – if any VP candidate could polish that stone, she had all the props to do so. It didn’t work. It won’t work for Trump’s pick, either. The only reason he would announce is because Pence would need to withdraw from the IN governor’s race by this Friday if he’s going to do so. If there’s no announcement by Friday and Pence doesn’t withdraw, he can’t be on the ballot as VP in Indiana.

“No” per se. All I’m saying is that I never heard of him. I’m certain however, that Trump has vetted each and every
potential candidate. And by the way, when you give an individual only two choices, these options may not fit the individuals
view point, but you’re forcing him/her to choose, nevertheless. Right now, the guy that’s been most visible, whose words Ive
listened to, is Newt. Obviously, Newt is a veteran, knows how to navigate the turf, can school Trump on who the Players are
that matter. But at the end of the day, It’s Trump that will make the final decision on what matters. He’s no fool; Trump will
consult with the appropriate staff on matters of grave importance. People say that Trump doesn’t have any Political experience, but in my view, this doesn’t matter. People are people, and when he’s faced with a Social Transaction, regarding matters of International interest, or domestic, for that matter, a deal is a deal—this is what people forget or don’t consider when they make comments like that…that Trump doesn’t have the experience. He has all the experience that he needs. Period. He’s a phenomenon. I predict that Trump will be the Best President the United States has ever seen had. What troubles me is that because he runs counter to the Establishment, he may get taken out. Yes, I mean Assassinated. And I’ll tell you this…If this were to happen—All Hell will break loose. Newt Gingrich knows the govt. more than anyone else and wants to help Trump get things done from what I’ve seen. No one I’ve seen or heard of yet fills the bill for Donald but Newt. Newt knows every dirty trick Obama uses and will give the power to Trump if he elects him as his running mate. Be very careful Donald. You may be very sorry if you don’t use Newt Gingrich’s counsel. I hope you do choose Gingrich. I’ve watched him over all these years and he’s way smarter on govt. than anyone else I’ve seen. Obama is a sneak and he knows just how to use the govt. You need a man who can stop that in its tracks !

I honestly believe Newt Gringrich would help you win the presidency vote better. I believe across the USA more folks know Newt better plus Newt is certainly qualified. Bottom line, we must win over Hillary to save our nation.

I don’t understand where you are coming from on the “Impeach” statement sir. There is no way that Trump could legally be impeached, even on his worst behavior in light of what Oblameobubba has got away with.

BTW: The above reply was meant for law5960. I didn’t realize that it would be so far down the list. However, I will also add Hildabeast to the list while I am here. How in the world can anyone get away with the atrocities that have inundated our government…….. EVIL is the only way to describe it.

Only officeholders can be impeached. Trump holds NO office.

OTOH, D’OweBama should NEVER be impeached; he should simply be arrested(for any number of things, from lying under his Oath of Office to Treason), and upon conviction, bodily removed from the WH, his crap stacked on the curb like any OTHER applicant caught lying on their rental app.

After all, only LEGITIMATE office-holders can be impeached, and he gained the office via fraud, deceit, trickery, vote-manipulation, and a reliance upon Constitutional ignorance amongst the majority population. To “impeach” him, therefore, would be to tacitly declare that he IS legitimately in the office, and that he did indeed qualify as a “natural born” candidate, which he is not, and never can be.
