Thieves get this priest hot under the collar.

And one car-jacker just learned that the hard way.

Jean-Baptiste Commins, a Catholic priest at St. Joseph Shrine in Detroit, was working when he saw a stolen car crash outside his church, and heard a woman begging for help.

That’s when he sprung into action… and gave the car thief a beating he won’t soon forget.

Listen to Commins as he shares the incredible story:

🚨PRIEST TAKES DOWN FLEEING CAR THIEF WITH HIS BARE HANDS

Detroit priest Reverend Canon Jean-Baptiste Commins tackled an 18yo car thief who crashed a stolen vehicle outside his church Monday night.

Still in his clerical attire, the French priest chased the suspect down, tackled… pic.twitter.com/gjKgG7uAij
