A foolish prank is going to result in serious consequences for one airline passenger.
A flight headed from Newark, NJ to Spain recently had to turn around after an hour… because one idiotic passenger decided to name his Bluetooth device “Bomb.”
Of course, passengers had already been told repeatedly to turn off their Bluetooth devices, so the stunt seems to have been designed to get the airplane crew’s attention.
And, boy, did it. Here’s the cockpit audio where the pilot explains to the rest of the passengers why they need to return to Newark.
