Was disgraced billionaire sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein spotted alive and well in South Florida?
A new viral video showing a man who looks strikingly similar to Epstein is setting social media on fire and reigniting years-old conspiracy theories that the infamous pedophile faked his own death.
The footage was originally posted Friday by a Florida man named Andrew Posey, then picked up Sunday by the popular Instagram account OnlyInFlorida.
By the time it spread to X, the video had racked up more than 3.5 million views. The clip shows a gray-haired man wearing a white backwards baseball cap and sunglasses, driving a convertible with the top down on a South Florida highway.
“The internet is freaking out after this video was recorded in South Florida! WHO DOES THAT LOOK LIKE TO YOU???” wrote X user Matt Wallace.

Comments poured in from every corner of the internet.
“I used to think there’s no way he’s alive — after the files I’m not 100% certain,” one user wrote.
Others weren’t buying it.
“Lol, Epstein has one of the most recognizable faces on the planet — there’s no way he could ever live a life without being recognized 10 times a day,” another shot back.
“If it really was who you’re insinuating it is, why would Jeff drive around in a convertible?”
“Dude has to get this constantly,” a commenter noted on the original Instagram post.
There is no evidence that the man in the video is actually Epstein. Jeffrey Epstein was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City on August 10, 2019, while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges.
The New York City Chief Medical Examiner officially ruled his death a suicide by hanging, while a forensic pathologist hired independently by Epstein’s brother said murder was far more likely.
This is far from the first “Epstein sighting” to go viral, but so far all have been debunked.
