Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is facing scrutiny after a viral video surfaced of the longtime lawmaker speaking to the press at a Charleston, SC hotel.

During a recent press conference at the Embassy Suites in downtown Charleston, SC, witnesses are speculating that Graham was intoxicated while speaking to the media.

The video, originally posted by Charleston-area media outlet The Carolina Courier, described attendees at the press event describing Graham as looking disheveled and even intoxicated.

“We were a little shocked. He appeared quite tired, disheveled and disoriented,” one witness told The Carolina Courier.

The post also referenced a speech that Graham gave last month at the RJC Summit where some also described Graham as slurring his words.
