James Comey bombshell just uncovered (what Fox News missed)

In a stunning discovery, newly released emails reveal former FBI Director James Comey anticipated working for “President-elect Hillary Clinton” and knew his aide was leaking information to media outlets before the 2016 election, contradicting his sworn testimony to Congress.

You may not have seen this on Fox News or the rest of the mainstream media.

Federal prosecutors released the emails Monday in a court filing responding to Comey’s motion to dismiss his indictment for making false statements and obstructing Congress.

Acting U.S. Attorney Lindsey Halligan and deputy Tyler Lemmons cited the documents to reject Comey’s claim of malicious prosecution.

NEW: James Comey tried to get his indictment thrown out, only for prosecutors to drop even more explosive evidence.

A handwritten note from Comey himself reveals he knew all about the scheme behind the Russia collusion hoax.

Some emails show Comey communication with Daniel Richman, a Columbia Law School professor who served as a special government employee at the FBI, about Richman’s efforts to provide information anonymously to The New York Times regarding Hillary Clinton’s email scandal.

“Well done my friend. Who knew this would. E so uh fun,” Comey wrote in a November 2016 email after Richman briefed him on the leak.

In another email, Comey wrote about his expectation that Clinton would win the presidency.

“Some day they will figure it out. And as [Individual 1 and Individual 2] point out, my decision will be one a president-elect Clinton will be very grateful for (although that wasn’t why I did it),” Comey wrote to Richman.

The emails directly contradict Comey’s sworn testimony to Congress. During a September 30, 2020 Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Senator Ted Cruz (R-T.X.) questioned Comey about previous testimony.

Cruz read Comey’s May 3, 2017 exchange with Senator Chuck Grassley: “Have you ever been an anonymous source in news reports about matters relating to the Trump investigation or the Clinton investigation?”

Comey responded under oath: “Never.”

“Have you ever authorized someone else at the FBI to be an anonymous source in news reports about the Trump investigation or the Clinton administration?” Grassley then asked.

Comey again responded: “No.”

Halligan’s filing argues the newly discovered emails prove Comey knew about and encouraged Richman’s media leaks, despite his denials under oath.

One email shows Richman informing Comey about The New York Times asking him to write an opinion piece about Comey’s October 2016 letter to Congress announcing the FBI reopened its investigation into Clinton’s emails shortly before the election.

Richman told Comey he was “not inclined” but would “do it” if Comey thought it would help with “credibility” and threatened Congressional investigations.

The documents were reportedly found in a classified information facility that FBI Director Kash Patel discovered this year.

Comey faces two felony charges: making false statements to Congress and obstruction of a congressional proceeding. He could face up to five years in prison if convicted. Comey pleaded not guilty at his arraignment in October.

President Donald Trump’s administration indicted Comey in September after Trump publicly demanded the prosecution. Trump called Comey “one of the worst human beings this Country has ever been exposed to” and “the former Corrupt Head of the FBI” in a Truth Social post.

Comey’s attorney Patrick Fitzgerald said his client “denies the charges in their entirety” and looks forward to “vindicating him in the courtroom.”

A trial date is set for January 5. Both parties expect the trial to last two to three days.

Comey served as FBI director from 2013 until Trump fired him in May 2017. Trump cited Comey’s mishandling of the Clinton email investigation and the Russia investigation as reasons for the dismissal.

After his firing, Comey provided memos detailing his interactions with Trump to Richman, who leaked them to the media. Comey testified in June 2017 that he gave Richman the memos to prompt appointment of a special counsel.

Exhibit 5 gets worse.
