Melania Trump has never been a stranger to the limelight.
Now the former model, socialite, and current First Lady is making a much-anticipated debut to the Hollywood big screen.
Melania Trump’s cinematic debut was dropped late Thursday on X and is generating a lot of initial buzz.
“Amazon MGM Studios will release ‘MELANIA’ exclusively in theaters on Friday, January 30 in the U.S. and select territories overseas,” an announcement from Amazon Studios read.
“MELANIA offers unprecedented access to the 20 days leading up to the 2025 Presidential Inauguration — through the eyes of the First Lady-elect herself.”

Studio insiders gave viewers a glimpse of what they can expect watching “MELANIA,” which is set to debut on January 30, 2026.
“Step inside Melania Trump’s world as she orchestrates inauguration plans, navigates the complexities of the White House transition, and reenters public life with her family,” the X post read.
“With exclusive footage capturing critical meetings, private conversations, and never-before-seen environments, MELANIA showcases Mrs. Trump’s return to one of the world’s most powerful roles.”
Critics say fans will be able to see Melania step into the spotlight in a whole new way, proving that her elegance and star power effortlessly translate from the White House to Hollywood.
This past February, The New York Post reported that Melania Trump will walk away with at least $28 million as part of a $40 million agreement with Amazon to license the documentary film about her life.

Melania Trump’s movie rights deal came together shortly after Amazon founder Jeff Bezos traveled to Mar-a-Lago last December to dine with her husband.
According to a Wall Street Journal report, the first lady was keen on persuading Bezos, the Amazon founder and Washington Post owner who historically has had a tough relationship with the president, to buy the rights to the documentary.
Reports say that as part of her pitch to Amazon, Melania Trump reportedly enlisted the aid of Brett Ratner, the Hollywood director and producer known for hits including the “Rush Hour” trilogy as well as his involvement with blockbusters such as “Red Dragon” and “X-Men: The Last Stand.”
At the Mar-a-Lago dinner last Dec. 18, which included the Trumps as well as Bezos and his fiancée, Lauren Sanchez, the first lady “regaled” her guests with details about the documentary film, the Journal reported.
About two weeks later, Amazon announced the deal for Melania’s film.
“We licensed the upcoming Melania Trump documentary film and series for one reason and one reason only — because we think customers are going to love it,” an Amazon spokesman told the Wall Street Journal.
In addition to her upcoming movie, her memoir “Melania” was released last October and became a bestseller, becoming the number-one bestselling book on Amazon through preorders at the time.
