For months, presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump has called the litigation against his Trump University a politically motivated sham.
It’s looking more and more like he’s right.
And, once again, all roads lead straight to the Clintons.
According to recent reports, the firm behind the lawsuit against Trump University isn’t just a bunch of lawyers after a quick buck. In fact, the firm has deep financial ties over the course of years with both Hillary and Bill Clinton.
Judge Gonzolo Curiel ordered the release of documents from the lawsuit Friday, and they contained the shocking Clinton link that was first reported by Rachael Stockman of LawNewz.com.
In fact, Stockman reported, Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd, the law firm behind the class action suit, has paid the Clintons $675,000 in speaking fees since 2009 alone.
“Hillary Clinton gave a $225,000 speech at the law firm as recently as September 4, 2014,” according to Stockman’s report. “Bill Clinton also gave a speech for the same fee back in 2013, and another one in 2009 before the firm had been renamed (they used to be called Coughlin Stoia Geller Rudman & Robbins LLP).”
Of the five law firms that paid the Clintons for speaking engagements over the past few years, Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd seems to have shelled out the most.
One of the attorneys ‘of counsel’ at the law firm, Patrick Coughlin, even maxed out his personal donations to Clinton’s presidential campaign in February.
Trump University has been cited in anti-Trump political ads during the primary campaign as evidence that Trump doesn’t fulfill his promises. Trump’s lawyers deny any wrongdoing in the case.
Trump has predicted he will prevail when the case goes to trial.
The trial is expected to begin in November, close to Election Day, which some have criticized as remarkably suspicious timing.

First the loan system is all over. Something the universities did not require is for students to go to a Jr/community college first. They for that should be held responsible. With an AS the student could work part tine and college part time. Then the colleges should require finance classes teaching students how to budget. Also require students to take a how to find a job class. Most of the first 2 years of college is getting the general education requirements out of the way. No government financial aid should be offered to any freshman and sophmore unless they are at a jr/community college for that reason. The Student Loan slavery needs to stop!

Third, Hillary is under an FBI investigation, and may be charged with racketeering for all of the bribes she has received and favors done in return. The FBI will be recommending prosecution soon. Clinton is stalling on being interviewed by the FBI (the last piece in the investigation) and the Department of in-Justice is dragging their feet as well. Comey wants to build an airtight case and that can’t happen until the target of the investigation (Clinton) is interviewed. The Grand Jury cannot move forward on an indictment (and many believe that a secret Grand Jury has already been empaneled) until the FBI is satisfied that they have met all of the DoJ lawyers demands (and they can make more and more demands for evidence on a case that they don’t want to prosecute). Insiders at Justice have already indicated that there are a lot of tensions between the agents of the FBI and the DoJ lawyers. In the end, what the insiders expect to happen is that the FBI will make its recommendation for prosecution and that the DoJ will attempt to “run out the clock” on prosecution until after the general election. And that Hillary would be pardoned by Obama as he goes out the door. It would be a total miscarriage of justice but hopefully, the American people will not be stupid enough to vote for her if the FBI recommends prosecution. Hillary as President would be an unmitigated disaster. There’s a new book out now, by a woman named Diana Johnstone, who believes that Hillary Clinton is so inept that she would likely blunder us into a war with the Russians. And that would be very, very bad. The book is called, “Queen of Chaos”.

I like your attitude, Dawg. As for my political leanings, I have voted in every presidential election since 1968, and in only one of those did I vote for either the Democrat or the Republican. I have always found some third party to support, hoping to give some non-establishment parties a bit of credibility and to let the establishment know I don’t like the choices they are giving us. My tactics haven’t changed the quality of the selections, though. I guess, as Mark Twain is supposed to have said, “if voting made any difference they wouldn’t let us do it.”

Thank you sir for the roses and for the conversation. I certainly understand where you are coming from, I have always been a Republican since 1972. I was married in 1968, when I turned eighteen, but couldn’t vote until I got back from Nam as I was drafted one year after I was married. I have thought very seriously about registering as an independent for the last several years, because the Republican Party is so messed up and the Democratic Party has always been messed up. It seems that now, the Democrats dictate and the Republicans fall in line like a whipped dog (no pun intended) lol. It took a long time for me to decide who I was going to vote for this time, but after taking a few readings from the past, I decided that all of the candidates had been in some form of government for years and hadn’t accomplished anything. That’s when I decided to go with Trump. He may not accomplish all he promises and he may make mistakes, but I sincerely believe that he will do SOMETHING. and that is more than what I have seen in the past. I hope you will decide to vote for Trump after you think about the pros and cons, but if you don’t, I’ll still call you friend…… although we do disagree. In fact, I can be friends with anyone that proves that they have a brain. It’s Stupid that I don’t like, because i can’t fix it!….. However, ignorance is wonderful!

Could you tell us the source for your statement. It was recently found that out of nearly 18 million California voters, 265 were not real voters, but were actually deceased. I haven’t read anywhere that even one of those 265 had mailed in a ballot for the primary.
