Ronnie Dunn, a member of the top country duo Brooks & Dunn, was filmed leaving a recent concert stage after reportedly feeling unwell.
Recently surfaced video footage from the April 3 event shared on TikTok by radio host Matt Malone showed the Brooks & Dunn star patting his chest before abruptly exiting the stage.
The singer was performing an encore of “Boot Scootin’ Boogie” but suddenly stopped altogether and encouraged the audience to “sing it if you know it.”
He gestured to his bandmates, patted his chest, gave a wave and promptly exited as the band played on in a video that can be seen below.

The news of Dunn’s departure seems to be positive as the band seemed completely unphased when Dunn walked off and didn’t address the issue in the moment, and it doesn’t appear that their future tour dates were affected by the health matter.
A Taste of Country reported that Dunn was spotted sitting down during the concert and said that some fans reported the singer’s voice sounded a bit “winded” during the live show.
Dunn battled strep throat and COVID back in March. While on stage at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, he joked about his condition.
“We call it strovid… If you hear the wrong notes tonight, we’ll blame it on that. Any other time it’s just me,” he said, according to the Houston Press.
