Legendary golfer John Daly, known for his love of Diet Cokes and smokes, was reportedly rushed to the hospital and forced to undergo emergency hand surgery on Tuesday.
Daly shared news of his reported medical emergency on social media to fans after the surgery was successful.
“Emergency hand surgery… thankful went great and Doc McClimans for taking care of me. Be back playing in no time!” Daly posted.
“Thank you to Doc McClimans for getting me mended back! Should be hitting em again soon! Thx for all of the messages,” Daly said.

Daly won two major championships, and 5 overall PGA tour events, during his golfing career. He last appeared on the PGA Tour in 2024.
