A conflict within the Republican Party has erupted entering the 2025 New Year — and we want to hear from you, the readers of The Horn News.
One wing of the party, led by billionaire inventor Elon Musk, has called for the expansion of the foreign H-1B visa program. The program allows special visas to be given to talented foreign workers that permits them to come to America to work, bringing their gifts to the workforce and raising tax revenues.
President-elect Donald Trump had previously been against the foreign visas.
But in a stunning New Year bombshell, Trump recently signaled that he could back Musk in the disagreement with the more hardcore “Make America Great Again” wing of the Republican Party.

“I’ve always liked the visas, I have always been in favor of the visas. That’s why we have them,” Trump told The New York Post.
“I have many H-1B visas on my properties. I’ve been a believer in H-1B. I have used it many times. It’s a great program,” he said.
