Christmas brings peace and goodwill to men—but political experts know Christmas is the most dangerous time of the year.
With Congress eager to go home and American citizens concentrating on the most important things—like faith and family—liberal extremists know Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year to slip in their most unhinged proposals.
Congress looked poised to pass a budget-busting, pork-laden spending bill, until Elon Musk sounded the alarm.
But it looks like the Left let Americans think they won a small victory because, while you’re sitting down to your Christmas turkey, the Left has much bigger fish to fry
Top Democrats have decided they want to start the New Year with a huge change—by changing the entire U.S. Constitution itself… and they just let two of their biggest plans slip.
First, they want to change the way elections are conducted from now on. Left-wingers are calling for a constitutional amendment that would let big cities and states to elect the president from this point forward: They want to abolish the Electoral College.
The liberal Democratic governor of New York state, Kathy Hochul, has led the charge.
“Unfairly, less populated states have outsized influence and in fact, the votes of their residents count more than the residents of a state like New York,” Hochul lied, singling out Wyoming. (“No offense to Wyoming,” she said.)
“It’s time to amend the Constitution and relegate the institution of the Electoral College to the history books,” she said.
She said said the Founding Fathers would be in favor of her scheme to rig future presidential elections, because they wanted the Constitution to be a “living document” that politicians can alter any time they feel it’s become outdated.

But the Founding Fathers came up with the Electoral College to make sure everyone had a voice in the presidential election: big states and small states, huge urban metropolises and small farmers, and everyone in between.
They also wanted voters to remember the states help protect U.S. citizens’ rights against the federal government, to prevent it from becoming a tyranny.
So, when voters go to the polls in November, they choose which candidates win their state—and their states’ electors meet in December to cast the votes that really count: the ones that put a president over 270 electoral votes.
That way, candidates have to campaign in urban and rural states alike—and appeal to voters across the board.
If the popular vote comes into force, politicians will throw “outsized influence” to huge cities, like New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
You’ve seen their cities; do you want them having more power in deciding who becomes your president?
Liberals have been on board for years—going back at least to Hillary Clinton in 2000, and again when she lost the 2016 election.
Eight years later, Kamala Harris campaigned on the issue—when she lost the Electoral College and the popular vote.
But Democrats realize not every candidate will be as unlikable as Kamala Harris—and next time, they want big Democrat-run cities to have more pull.
Several states have a population smaller than the city of Los Angeles.
Excellent graphic. Getting rid of the electoral college means that LA county and NYC alone decide the election. The founders created the electoral college to give all states a say. https://t.co/Rzswdx0xSy

They’re supported by such cultural figures as Mark Hamill, the far-Left actor who played Luke Skywalker in the Star Wars franchise.
“I want to get rid of the Electoral College because Hillary beat Trump by 3 million votes…And it’s making me crazy,” said Hamill, looking for something to blame for his fragile mental state.

That’s not the only plot the Left has uncorked to change America’s founding document.
The second plot involves ratifying a long-dead amendment most Americans have forgotten about: the so-called “Equal Rights Amendment.”
The ERA had to achieve ratification by 1982 to make the Constitution…and it failed.
It got 35 states out of 38…and then five of those states withdrew their support.
Three more liberal states have signed on—and the Democrats want Joe Biden to declare the amendment has been “legally ratified” before his nursing aides wheel him out of the White House.
This is obviously illegal—as the National Archivist pointed out, triggering the Left’s anger.
“Earlier today, the national archivist preemptively stated that she would not legally certify the Equal Rights Amendment as part of the Constitution. By taking this unprecedented step, she is wrongfully inserting herself into a clear constitutional process, though her role is purely ministerial,” complained Sen. Kirtsen Gillibrand, D-N.Y. “Our argument has the support of legal experts, twenty-three attorneys general, the League of Women Voters, and the American Bar Association.”
“I remain undaunted, and will continue to urge President Biden to direct the archivist to certify and publish the ERA and codify equality in the Constitution,” said the left-wing senator.

It’s not fashionable, but The Horn still believes the U.S. Constitution is the greatest document ever written by man—and the Left hates it, because it protects our freedoms.
We know the collective brainpower of Hochul, Harris, and Hamill is no match for Hamilton, Madison, and Washington.
We’ll keep watch, so you can have a Merry Christmas!
