Rush hour is scary enough.

But one Arizona driver decided to take things to a terrifying new level.

Drivers outside of Phoenix, AZ stuck in bumper-to-bumper traffic were given an early Halloween scare when someone wearing a Michael Myers mask pretended to creep up on them with a knife.

Video going viral online shows the unidentified scare-seeker dressed like the infamous killer from the “Halloween” movies sneaking up on others stuck on Interstate 17 near Black Canyon City, about 45 miles north of Phoenix, and staring intently through the windows with the fake knife.

Check it out:

However, folks stuck in the traffic jam found the humor in the situation.

“He fell into character and made the wait more fun,” said one driver, Ryan Blauvelt, who captured the video and even decided to get in on the act by blasting out the eerie theme music from the 1978 horror classic.

But rather than gutting people with his knife — as Myers did in the movies — this character seemed to be only looking for fist bumps.

“If anyone knows who this was feel free to forward to him or tag him,” wrote Blauvelt.

The video has gone viral on a local Arizona Facebook group and then TMZ, with other residents loving the entertainment.
