A day at the park was anything but a walk in the park for one innocent park goer in India.
That’s because a leopard ended up attacking the man — and it was all caught on camera.
A leopard brutally attacked a group of picnickers in the South Forest Division Range of Shahdol in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday.
According to local media outlet NDTV, three people were reportedly injured after the big cat mauled them.
The incident occurred near the Son River in Khitauli. The report further stated that the picnickers noticed the leopard in the bushes and unfortunately instigated the attack.
In the video footage of the attack, the group of men can be seen calling out the leopard. “Aa jaa, aa jaa (translated as ‘Come here, come here’),” they said.
As the video continues, the leopard can be seen running towards the group while many keep screaming and filming the scene. “Are nahi, mat kar (Hey! No. Don’t do this),” a man said in the video.
Here’s footage of the scary attack:
While nobody was killed, many are slamming the park goers for instigating the attack, perhaps eluding that they had it coming to them.
A user wrote, “Clear instructions not to tease animals, now enjoy the bite.”
Another user commented, “Asked for it isn’t it! Assistant sub for sure asked for it, law abiding citizens.”
“Humans will never learn,” a third user reacted.
