Former pop icon Britney Spears is once again getting behind the camera to showcase yet another bizarre move that has many of her fans scratching their collective heads.
This time, she’s told the world she’s getting married. But it’s not what you think.
Yesterday, Spears posted a video of herself on social media in a wedding dress, telling her 41.9 million followers that she had married “herself.”

She posed in the dress, both with and without a veil, alongside a caption that read, “The day I married myself … Bringing it back because it might seem embarrassing or stupid, but I think it’s the most brilliant thing I’ve ever done !!!”
Spears, who has been in the spotlight recently for her conservatorship battle with her family, has unleashed a series of strange videos via her social media for the past couple of years.
Earlier this month, Spears took to Instagram to tell fans that she evidently almost burned herself to death because of a freak accident involving her fireplace.
“I was in my room, I turned the fire on, and all of the sudden, it blew up in my face,” the singer, 42, recalled while “talking in a British accent.”
The former star noted that since her fireplace had “done [that] before,” she usually gets her security to “come in and light it for” her.
“But this time, I just threw the whole thing in there, and it literally blew into my face,” Spears said, adding that the “person [she] was with just would not wake up.”
She claimed, “It took all my eyelashes off, my eyebrows and — see these baby bangs? These are from … it sizzl[ing] all my hair.”
