Obama behind White House coup of Joe Biden?

Republicans may be tempted to rejoice at the long-overdue negative media coverage Joe Biden has received in recent weeks, questioning his mental fitness to serve as the Democrats’ presidential nominee.

But high-placed individuals, in the government and outside, say that maybe we shouldn’t be take too much glee in his humiliation.

 

In fact, the entire thing may be a trap, an engineered coup from the top layers of the Democratic Party’s progressive machine to win a seemingly unwinnable election..and they’re using Republicans to lead the charge.

Barack Obama — who never wanted Biden to run for president in the first place — has used the president’s incapacity to turn him into a puppet for Obama’s political agenda. But they expected him to resign and pave the way for Kamala Harris to lead the ticket…and Biden has refused for four years.

Now, they want him gone.

Pronto.

Those close to Obama have been leading the charge to say Biden is not capable of handling the responsibility of being the Democratic presidential candidate in three-and-a-half months.

 

“I will say one thing we have to underline here, so viewers can understand what’s going on behind the scenes, is: The Biden campaign and many Democratic officials do believe that Barack Obama is quietly working behind the scenes to orchestrate this,” said Joe Scarborough on Biden’s favorite TV show, MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

It’s not just the Biden campaign; outrage and anger over Obama’s role in trying to sideline the president has steamed up everyone from the lowest volunteer to the candidate himself.

 

“Joe Biden is deeply resentful of his treatment under not only the Obama staff but also the way he was pushed aside for Hillary Clinton. He’s deeply resentful of those trying to shove him out of the way,” Scarborough added. “He’s always felt like an outsider, always felt like people look down on him.”

That raises profoundly disturbing questions about Biden’s aides…who they really work for….and what they want.

Biden’s closest aides watched him prepare for his debate against Donald Trump for a week at Camp David—and they let him debate Trump, anyway.

Then they pushed for him to go forward with a press conference last Thursday night, where Biden said he campaigned with “Vice President Trump.”

 

In fact, while Biden was at NATO, White House staffers announced to the media that they were meeting with members of Congress to discuss Biden’s fitness.

Is it a set-up? Is Obama pulling the rug?

While Joe Scarborough’s candor is welcome, as usual MSNBC got scooped by Fox weeks ago.

Rep. Andy Harris, R-Md., brought up the idea on “Mornings with Maria” last Friday morning. During his appearance on Fox Business, Harris—who is a member of the GOP Doctor’s Caucus—said, “Hopefully, we can find out what’s the real story here.”

“There has been an attempt by the White House to cover this up for months, at least,” he said. “Has the president used any medications at any time to make this appear to be better? We need to know if he has all his faculties about him.”

“‘I’m going to campaign from the basement’ isn’t going to work in 2024,” said the good Harris in D.C.

An anonymous “staffer” recently told Axios that Biden’s handlers send him photos of how to get on and off the stage at events.

Other staffers revealed that Biden doesn’t work well after 4 p.m.—and other staffers leaked to The New York Times that Biden takes naps every day.

Two of Biden’s “most stalwart supporters and major donors” told the legacy media that Biden has not held a regular Cabinet meeting since October 2, 2023. Some speculate that’s in order to prevent the Cabinet from invoking the 25th Amendment and removing Biden from office.

“We should have an explanation about that,” said Harris.

“Are they planning the coup as we speak?” asked a pro-Trump social media account with more than 100,000 followers.

“Joe Biden’s campaign is over,” said Nick Adams, an Australian-born politician once endorsed by Barack Obama.

 

Right now, conservatives are still laughing it up.

“It’s certainly fun to see the other side lose itself in the fever swamps about their own former president,” wrote conservative commentator Ed Morrissey on HotAir.com. “I’ll just be over here, popping more popcorn.”

But Obama may be angling to sideline Biden and replace him with a candidate who might actually win the election.

 

The most recent indications are that Biden lucked out—because Trump’s assassination attempt on Saturday cemented his chances of winning the election.

At this point, nobody thinks any Democrat can win—so it’s better to let Biden go down in flames.

It’s a sad report, which makes Biden’s role all the sadder.
