Joe Biden’s mumbling, open-mouthed, incoherent and rambling answers at the CNN debate in Atlanta could spell the end of his presidency…long before Americans ever vote in this November’s presidential election.
Democrats are secretly eager to drop Biden from the ticket and replace him with someone—anyone—who is more electable.
But Republicans have asked the next logical question: If Biden isn’t fit to be a presidential nominee, how on earth is he qualified to serve as president of the United States, leader of the free world, and commander-in-chief of the U.S. armed forces with his finger on the nuclear button?
They’re introduced a bill that urges Democratic leaders to declare Biden incapable to carrying out the functions of the high office of the presidency, and replace him with Acting President Kamala Harris.
Joe Biden could be removed from office using the 25th Amendment. The amendment, which was passed after John F. Kennedy’s assassination to provide for a smooth transfer of power, declares that if the president becomes incapacitated or otherwise unable to serve, the vice president becomes “acting president.”
The vice president has to kick the process off, by convincing a majority of the “principal” members of the Cabinet to agree. They will then inform the president pro tempore of the U.S. Senate and the Speaker of the House, and the vice president becomes acting president.
Of course, Biden will object—in which case, Congress has to break the tie: If two-thirds of Congress sides with the now-acting president, the decision stands. If not, Biden resumes his duties.
House Resolution 1336, introduced by Rep. Chip Roy, R-Texas, encourages Vice President Kamala Harris to begin marshaling Cabinet members’ consensus at once.
“Yes – the 25th Amendment should be invoked. No, Congress cannot trigger it,” Roy explained.
“It is undeniably true that Joe Biden, with 200 days remaining in his term, is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office – including and in particular as commander in chief in a dangerous world.”
Despite the limitations place on Congress, public servants still have “an obligation to speak out on behalf of those we represent – that the President is, in fact, mentally incompetent – it is our duty to do the right thing.”
Yes – the 25th Amendment should be invoked. No, Congress cannot trigger it – only the VP can. The real story is that Democrats are so politically craven and pathetic – having carried out the “Real Big Lie” of Biden’s supposed competence, they almost certainly will not do it.…

Roy has support from the most important member of the House—Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., who publicly encouraged “Cabinet members to search their hearts…because we have a president who, by all appearances, is not up to the task.”
The move wouldn’t exactly be unprecedented: The then-Democrat-controlled House passed a similar measure encouraging Mike Pence to use the 25th Amendment to force Donald Trump out of office in 2021.
While the media’s abuzz with stories about removing Biden from the ticket, investigative journalist Mark Hemingway wanted to know “why the media ran endless stories on using the 25th amendment against Trump and various armchair diagnoses of his mental state, but such stories have been all but nonexistent during Biden’s presidency in spite of his obvious decline.”
Also, I would love to hear an explanation for why the media ran endless stories on using the 25th amendment against Trump and various armchair diagnoses of his mental state.

Surprisingly, some Republicans are also fighting against the move, worried that it will remove a historically unpopular president all-but-certain to lose the election and give Democrats a chance to replace him with a fresh candidate. But conservative talk show host Steve Deace wrote that such concerns are “suicidally foolish.”
“A lot of hell could break loose over the next 205 days, especially now that the whole world saw — once and for all — the president of the United States is clearly incapacitated and therefore cannot actually be running the country,” Deace wrote at The Blaze.
“Our enemies are watching. They know they are on borrowed time,” explained Deace. “The tyrants of the world know that now is the time to strike with mischief and malevolence while the moment is still available.”
My latest for @theblaze: Dementia Joe must go now. Why Republicans pursuing a resolution calling for invoking the 25th Amendment is both the right thing for the country now, and politically for the election later.https://t.co/ZkZiVH9evF

So far, the Democrats haven’t had much of an answer…they’re too busy worrying about losing their vice-grip on power—and will happen if President Donald Trump is elected and starts to hold them legally accountable for their actions.
“The movement to convince Biden to not run is real,” an unnamed House Democrat told Politico.
The unnamed Member of Congress, whom Politico describes as “an outspoken defender of the president,”
This representative wants Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to join forces into “a combined effort” to tell Biden to decline to run for re-election—a move not taken since Lyndon B. Johnson in 1968 (which is so long ago, Biden wasn’t even in the Senate yet).
Some leading Democrats say they’ve given their all trying to have the mentally infirm Biden give up the car keys to the presidential limo, including The Ragin’ Cajun, Jim Carville. “When I reached the longtime Democratic strategist James Carville via text near the end of last night’s presidential debate, his despair virtually radiated through my phone,” wrote Ron Brownstein in one of the ruling class’ favorite publications, The Atlantic.
“‘I tried, man, I tried,’ Carville wrote to me.”
They could have listened to Republicans earlier. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., picked up on the Democratic double-talk back in February, when Special Counsel Robert Hur said that, although Biden mishandled classified documents, Hur wouldn’t prosecute, because the jury would just see Biden as a well-meaning, mentally feeble, old man.
At the same time, legal analyst Andrew McCarthy said Hur’s investigation produced enough evidence to enforce the 25th Amendment against Joe Biden at once.
Joe Biden isn’t capable to stand trial for all of the classified documents he stole after leaving office as a Senator and VP, yet he’s capable of carrying around the nuclear football?

Their agreement implies, if anything, it’s past time to remove Biden from office—if he ever should have been elected in the first place.
Congressman Roy thinks the Beltway advisers worrying about how removing Biden from office could benefit Democrats come November are wrong.
“I want President Trump to win, and I believe that President Trump should and would soundly and overwhelmingly defeat Harris, someone who has repeatedly demonstrated her radical views and lack of sincerity,” said Roy.
If Harris and Biden’s Cabinet secretaries refuse to rein in Biden as mentally incompetent, Chip Roy may have another trick up his sleeve.
Congress “would be on solid ground to impeach Joe Biden for lying to the American people about his supposed competence,” wrote Rep. Roy. “Perhaps we should consider that, too.”
