As America sinks into a destructive spiral of debt, President Joe Biden has unveiled yet another Democratic handout—and you won’t believe what it is.
This time, Democrats are giving away “free” beer and birth control to young people to try to get them to vote.
A group called Vote for Abortion went around Phoenix handing out contraceptives and feminine hygiene products in order to get young people to attend a concert, which will also feature a voter registration area.
Also Mente, the Spanish word for “mind,” giving out free mental health advice and voter registration at a Mexican music festival in Arizona.
A Philadelphia-based group plans to give out beer to convince youngsters to sign onto the voting rolls.
Republicans said everyone could use a little more alcohol in Joe Biden’s America.
“The only way a weak, failed, and corrupt leader’s allies can entice a populace to continue four more years of disastrous policies is to get them liquored up,” said top Trump campaign aide Chris LaCivita. “Biden should stop treating young voters, Black and Hispanic voters like they are stupid.”
Some asked whether the arrangement violates campaign finance law.
“The campaign is now resorting to very desperate pandering to win over voters,” said Fox News host Sean Hannity upon learning of the latest Democratic giveaway. “You can’t make this up!”
“Is vote-buying legal now?” he asked. “That sounds like you’re trying to bribe people to me.”
Hannity summarized the Left’s endless distribution of new entitlements to entitled teens and twenty-somethings as, “Free beer, free birth control, and I guess free college tuition.”
“Is that gonna work?” he asked.
Some Republicans have greater trust in the sense, honor, and decency of America’s young people.
“I think that stuff with beer and contraception—this is childish!” said former Speaker of the House and Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich. “You know, they are supposed to just go, ‘Oh, my gosh, I get a free beer. Gee, I really like Joe Biden.’”
“That’s stupid!” the Georgia native said.
Pandering to young people’s lowest drives and urges “assumes that young people are so simple-minded that they have a single point of reference—that they don’t think about not getting a job, they don’t think about not being able to buy a house, they don’t think about the price of groceries this week.”
Technically, the matter is legal, because the money comes from nonprofit organizations—like Dmitri Mehlhorn, a donor adviser to billionaire Democrats like LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman, and the founder of Invest in US.
“Nonprofits that use tax-deductible donations from anonymous donors can pay for it all as long as the effort does not encourage fealty to a party or candidate,” said The Washington Post.
That way, you can say you’re just encouraging people to be good citizens.
“You have to be able to drink the beer whether you voted or not,” said a campaign finance attorney named Brian Svoboda at Perkins Coie, the infamous legal group Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign used to farm out the Russian dossier in 2016.
LaCivita predicted Biden’s “liberal financiers will stop paying rent bills and throwing block parties the second the election is over” and go back to ignoring them faster than you can say “Dreamer.”
But it looks like young people have already tuned out the Biden campaign.
When canvassers try to get out the vote, The Washington Post reported, “Biden’s name was not central to the pitch.”
I’ll bet.
While Biden’s approval rating has sunken to new lows with all Americans, he has a particularly galling disconnect from young people. One of the organizers of the giveaways, Kevin Mack of The Voter Project, says he plans to turn out 100,024 more young voters in 2024, targeting Pennsylvania.
The problem is, he has no bait. Young people don’t like Joe or Kamala, leading to massive Democratic frustration.
Democratic strategist James Carville lashed out and screamed obscenities at the “little f–king 26-year-olds,” because they do not support Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as much as he thinks they should.
“‘James, young voters are just not into this. It’s two candidates, one’s in their 80s, one is almost in their 80s, they’re concerned about things that Washington politicians, and you just can’t blame them,’” said Carville.
“Oh, s**t. F**k you!” screamed the “Ragin’ Cajun.”
He claimed if Donald Trump and the Republican Party win the 2024 election—which most polls agree—“there will be no government left, there will be no rights left, you will live under theocracy, you’ll end up with Christian nationalism.”
There’s not much evidence trying to scare people into the voting booth is working…so now the Left turns to outright bribery.
The problem is with the White House’s low estimation of America’s youth, not so much with the youth itself, said Newt Gingrich.
“Most people, most Americans are just much more complicated than the people in the White House,” said Gingrich. “That’s the reality.”
Joe Biden has made his job less complicated and his presidency simpler by not worrying about the well-being of the American people. He has added trillions of dollars to the national debt, ushered in four years of high inflation and interest rates, and imported the criminal and cartel class of the entire world through our uncontrolled border.
Just today, Biden announced new measures to help and reward those who came into the United States illegally—bragging in his announcement that he made illegal aliens eligible for Obamacare.
Guess who gets to foot the bill for underwriting their health insurance?
The same people who will pay for the young people’s “free” college tuition and birth control.
