President Joe Biden can no longer climb a regulation flight of stairs, but when a reporter asked him about his advancing age, Biden threatened to square off with him on the spot.
Biden invited a reporter to a bout of fisticuffs during a recent, humiliating interview with Time magazine that questioned whether Biden had the mental acuity to be president—and then proved he does not.
The reporter asked Biden about one of the voters’ top concerns: his age and mental condition.
“You are 81 years old, and would be 86 by the time you left office. Large majorities of Americans, including in the Democratic Party, tell pollsters they think you are too old to lead. Could you really do this job as an 85-year old man?” the reporter asked.
Joe Biden decided those were fighting words.
“You’re looking at me, I can take you too,” Biden threatened the reporter, who’s about 20 years his junior.
Biden threatened a reporter with a beat down? Seriously? Americans were outraged by the doddering octogenarian’s comments.
“Joe Biden is a feeble 81-year-old man who finds walking up the stairs difficult, but he decided to snap at a reporter by challenging him to a fight,” wrote one commentator at RedState. The writer envisions the president of the United States threatening to whip up on a member of the press—something Richard Nixon and Donald Trump never dreamed of saying.
“Do you feel the norms being restored?” asked the author.
Threats of violence are not exactly new from Joe Biden. Four years ago, Biden repeatedly threatened to thrash Donald Trump physically.
“I wish we were in high school,” said Biden — who is now 81, not 18 — so “I could take him behind the gym” and “beat the Hell out of him.”
Biden said on another occasion, “If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the Hell out of him.”
Trump has referred to Biden’s not-too-intimidating fight invitation on the 2024 campaign trail, implying Trump could knock the frail Democrat over simply by breathing on him.

Joe Biden once said “ If we were in high school, I'd take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him,'"

Biden and his fellow Trump-hating liberals have made so many hateful, potentially illegal threats against the 45th president and his followers that the Trump campaign released an 87-second video stating, “Democrats are the party of violence.”
👉 DEMOCRATS ARE THE PARTY OF VIOLENCE‼️
👉 Democrat lax on crime policy has caused the #BidenBorderBloodbath
👉 Democrat inaction creates the normalization of violence against American citizens.
👉 Democrat rhetoric precipitated the fatal summer of love.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t the only—perhaps not even the most—embarrassing moment of the lengthy sit-down interview with Time.
The reporter simply couldn’t understand what Joe Biden was saying at least three times, listing the president’s words as “unintelligible.”
Take a look at the transcript from @TIME's interview with Joe Biden. During this 35 minute interview, there were at least three instances where the interviewers couldn't understand what Joe Biden was saying.

At other times, what he said was pure nonsense.
“Wage increases have exceeded what the cost of inflation,” said Biden in a grammatically challenged sentence that expresses no thought at all.
If the president were trying to say Americans’ earnings are rising faster than the rate of inflation during his presidency, well, that’s a lot of malarkey.
The Biden-friendly outlet Roll Call noted in January that, even then, inflation had exceeded wage gains under Joe Biden by “2.8 percent. For Trump, hourly wages exceeded his Presidential Inflation Rate by 3.3 percent. So, in terms of hourly wages versus inflation, Trump did better by 6.1 percent.”
Biden tried to shove the blame onto greedy corporations—but the transcript show a doddering old man searching vainly for his next word.
“You have everything from shrinkflation to what’s going on in terms of the way in which they’re artificially moving significantly to increase, their, their, their, their, their profits,” Biden eventually stammered out.
Biden also mixed up the leaders of Russia and China, referring to Chinese Communist dictator Xi Jinping as “Putin,” a reference to the Russian president.
Then Biden accused Vladimir Putin of invading his own country, saying Putin sent Russian armed forces “into Moscow—I mean from Russia into Ukraine.”
Biden didn’t just get other world leaders’ titles confused; he either forgot his own job—or admitted he’s not actually the president of the United States.
“I’ve spent more time with Xi Jinping than any leader in the world, over 90 hours alone with him since I’ve been vice president,” Biden told Time.
In one long, rambling statement, Biden’s memory apparently flashed back and forth between the present day and his work in the Senate decades ago with deceased Republican Senator Richard Lugar about the burning of South American rain forests.
The transcript records Joe Biden’s statement word-for-word: “We said to, in the Amazon, they said, look, if you, we’ll make a deal with you Brazil. You don’t cut your forest, we’ll pay you not to do it. We’ll pay you not to do it, we have to prevent— And that’s why we’re working so hard to make sure Angola can be in a position that they have more solar capacity.”
After the interview caused massive backlash, it looks like word got to the Time reporter who broke the story, Massimo Calabresi, not to say another negative word about the president.
“First of all, did he, like, threaten to take you on?” asked CNN’s Jake Tapper on Tuesday evening.
“It was a lighthearted moment in the interview. It was quite funny, actually,” said Calabresi.
Really? Joe Biden is not exactly renowned for his lighthearted and joking tone.
But when Tapper asked about asked Calabresi about the president’s mental acumen, Calabresi gave the most jocular, elliptical, and indirect response ever.
The Joe Biden in the Time interview “appears very much as he appears on TV. He is older than when he started in office. It’s visible if you just look side by side on the tape. The transcript is a good place for people to go to assess that. You know, he was—we describe it in the piece, as well. There’s some sort of color description of how he appeared in there,” said Calabresi.

But other commentators did not spare the 46th president.
“Biden demonstrates he’s a vegetable,” said The Daily Wire’s Ben Shapiro. “He is no longer sentient…He is verbally what he is physically”: a complete shambles.
Others agreed that the president’s handlers shouldn’t be exposing the old man to any stressors.
“What are his handlers doing by putting him in these situations?” Red State continued. “And this happened with one of the most friendly outlets out there. Imagine what he’s going to look like at the debates if he gets even the slightest amount of push back from a moderator.”
“Biden is senile, and those around him are too scared to keep him out of the spotlight.”
Biden’s interview reads more like the words of someone who should be in The Villages, not the Oval Office (or even the replica Oval Office Biden often uses in his announcements, for some reason).
The Time transcript shows that Joe Biden is already in a life-and-death fight with time—and he’s losing.
Resign, Joe.
