On Wednesday, President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign stopped in a critical swing state… and fell flat on its face.
Biden spoke at a boarding school gym in Philadelphia… and he failed to even fill the high school gym.
Fox News star Sean Hannity’s team came up with a savage new nickname for the president: “Gymnasium Joe.”
Biden was speaking at Girard College, a high school with a large Black population. He was speaking in front of signs reading “BLACK VOTERS for BIDEN-HARRIS,” despite his lackluster polling with Black and Hispanic men.
Among Black adults, Biden’s approval has dropped from 94% when he started his term to just 55%, according to an Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll published in March.
Given his polling woes, no one should have been surprised by the sparse showing at Biden’s rally.
“The school’s gym is only about half full of supporters,” New York Post reporter Steven Nelson observed from the scene. “A good amount of space is empty and spacious press workspace takes up the rest.”

Seeking to draw a contrast between himself and Donald Trump, he called the former president “unhinged” and slammed his “MAGA lies.”
“I’ll be damned if I’m going to let Donald Trump turn America into a place of anger, resentment and hate,” Biden said, calling on the crowd to help him and Harris win a second term. “My question is a simple one: Are you with me?”
