“On the Holmes Front,” with Frank Holmes
It’s no secret that Joe Biden and the Democratic minions running his administration have used every legal—and extra-legal—means available to harass former President Donald Trump during this election year.
Trump faces 91 charges in multiple different venues, from Fani Willis’ ethically compromised investigation in Atlanta, to New York state Attorney General Letitia James’ prosecution over the value of his real estate, to Jack Smith’s ongoing quest to tie him up in a courtroom so he’s not out on the campaign stump.
But what few people know — because even few media outlets have reported — is that the Trump team is striking back.
People close to the 45th president have launched their own charges against Joe Biden.
What more, the charges they’ve levied are so serious they’ve already reached, and struck fear into, the highest echelons of the Biden administration.
Of course, you’re well aware of the House Republicans’ efforts to highlight allegations of bribery, access-selling, and influence-peddling stretching back to Biden’s days as vice president. Those charges involve his son, Hunter Biden, his brothers, James and Francis Biden, and James Biden’s wife, Sara Biden, among many other players.
Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., has said he may pursue charges in courts of law nationwide.
But a new movement—directly from people in Donald Trump’s orbit—has also been launched…and the legal complaint has already reached Biden’s hand-picked attorney general, Merrick Garland.
By cozying up with “millionaires and billionaires,” as Bernie Sanders would say, Joe Biden stands accused of breaking the Ethics in Government Act (EIGA).
The EIGA requires politicians to disclose the value, amount, and donor of any personal gifts they receive from anyone other than a relative.
For his entire tenure as president, Joe Biden has reported zero. The problem is, there have been at least three major donors, with potential conflicts of interest, who have given Biden substantial gifts.
In other words, just like the backdoor business deals with China and Hunter Biden’s abstract art career, Joe Biden is hiding another source of potential influence-peddling.
“Since at least the time he was Vice President, Biden has demonstrated a concerning and systematic trend of accepting lavish vacations as gifts from wealthy individuals with business before the government,” reads a legal complaint from the Center for Renewing America. “And he has failed to disclose these gifts in violation of EIGA.”
The Center for Renewing America is led by Russ Vought, who served as director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) in the first Donald Trump administration.
“Whenever Biden wishes to celebrate a holiday or go on vacation, there seems to be a billionaire whose interests can be benefited by the President waiting to offer a vacation home,” says the CRA complaint. “The potential for conflicts of interest are vast.”
“What does Rubenstein want in exchange for loaning Biden his digs?” I asked at the time. “But it’s not just this year: The Bidens have vacationed in this spot for the holiday nearly every year since 1975.”
After all, as CRA says, “Rubinstein is an active participant in the private equity world,” the kind of Wall Street fat-cat Democrats are supposed to take down…and Biden is sleeping in his bed. And it’s not the only bed-hopping that’s going on.
The legal filing breaks down additional Biden family outings in digs provided by Maria Allwin, Tom Steyer—a major Democratic Party donor and activist—and Bill and Connie Neville.
The Nevilles let the Bidens stay in their luxurious property in St. Crois, in the Virgin Islands, around Christmas 2022 and New Year’s 2023. He also stayed with them five times as vice president, CRA reveals.
For her part, Allwin let the Bidens stay in her $20 million mansion in August 2022—and didn’t charge the family one red cent.
Even Trump-haters like Richard Painter, a former George W. Bush official and now a professor, say that violates federal law. “The homeowner has to be a personal friend of the president or first lady and be present during the stay,” or else it has to be reported, Painter said.
Steyer, who launched a failed 2020 presidential bid, let the Bidens spend a week inside his $18 million mansion on Nevada’s Lake Tahoe last August. To make matters worse, officials in Douglas County say Steyer didn’t have the right permit to become a landlord, let alone to the president and his family. But they closed the investigation—as usual—saying they couldn’t “substantiate” a “code violation.”
Steyer says the First Family paid “fair market value”…but he won’t say what the dollar figure came to. And the Bidens aren’t talking.
Which raises the question: Did the Bidens pay in cash…or favors?
“The Center for Renewing America respectfully requests that the Department of Justice (DOJ) open an investigation into President Joe Biden in connection with possible violations of federal financial disclosure laws,”
Biden insists, through his spokesman Andrew Bates, that he has “instituted the strongest ethics rules in history” and has provided 100% “full transparency with the American people.”
“If this were an ethics complaint against Trump, it’d be a front-page story,” wrote Tim Graham of the Media Research Center, on Elon Musk’s social media outlet X, formerly known as Twitter.
A Google search of the headlines reveals one—and only one—news outlet has covered the charges.
“Biden accused of failing to disclose vacations gifted to him by wealthy supporters,” reads the headline from Fox Business.

And. That’s. It.
It’s a cliché to say if the shoe were on the other foot, the media reaction would be different. But it’s true.
What do these donors want?
How many more are there?
Why is Joe Biden hiding their contributions?
Did the donors happen to drop by—and talk business—when these donations-in-kind were being made?
What did they want? And how are we paying for it?
Joe Biden promised to restore honesty, ethics, and normalcy to the White House. He’s returned to his norm, by grifting the American people for his family’s benefit.
This November, the American people should make sure Biden doesn’t vacation in Camp David.
