House Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi spoke at a Democrat Party fundraiser Thursday at Seattle’s Westin Hotel, when she was humiliated by far-Left protestors demanding “an immediate and permanent ceasefire” that would benefit the radical Islamic terror group Hamas.
“Nancy Pelosi, you are complicit in the Israeli crime of genocide,” one protestor shouted in a viral video. “We demand an end to the Zionist occupation of Palestine! We demand an end to the 17-year-long brutal siege of Gaza to be lifted! We demand an end!”
Israel, with support from Egypt, has maintained a military blockade around the Gaza Strip since 2007. Israel also put Gaza under siege by cutting power and water shortly after the attack on Oct. 7, but it resumed these services later that month.
“I’m an Iraqi refugee,” the protestor continued. “I watched the government you represent kill a million of my people! You killed 70,000 Afghans, and now over 30,000 Palestinians have died due to your complicity!”
One onlooker told the protestor, “They heard you.”
“End the occupation now,” and, “Free, free Palestine” the heckler continued.
All the while, Nancy Pelosi tried to talk over the heckler, while the heckler yelled at Pelosi about “the greatest threat to the Democratic Party.”
In another video, attendees chanted, “Nancy, Nancy, Nancy,” to drown out the protestor’s voice.
Other protestors congregated outside.
A pro-Hamas group, Samidoun Seattle, shared videos of the hecklers on social media.
Samidoun Seattle states its goal as freeing political prisoners in Israel. In an Instagram caption, the group calls for “a free Palestine from the river to the sea,” a phrase that is a clear call for the genocide of Jews.
