Harvard president ripped to shreds by conservative star [video]

Harvard President Claudine Gay was heavily criticized after she and other Ivy League university leaders refused to say “yes” when asked if calls for the genocide of Jews were a violation of their university code of conduct.

Video of the explosive exchange between Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., and Gay quickly went viral.

Stefanik asked Gay, as well as the presidents of MIT and the University of Pennsylvania, Sally Kornbluth and Liz Magill, if calling for the genocide of Jews violates their campus rules.

All three insisted that “context” was needed when a mob on their campus called for the massacre of Jews, and that specific Jewish students would need to be threatened to enforce their code of conduct.

“Calling for the genocide of Jews does not constitute bullying and harassment?” Stefanik asked.

“I have not heard calling for the genocide for Jews on our campus,” Kornbluth claimed, despite numerous videos of student groups chanting for Intifada and the elimination of Jewish people “from the River to the Sea” in Israel.

“Does calling for the genocide of Jews violate Penn’s rules?” Stefanik directly asked Magill, who refused to answer.

“It is a context-dependent decision, congresswoman,” she responded.

“So the answer is yes, that calling for the genocide of Jews violates Harvard Code of Conduct?” Stefanik asked Gay, who also refused to answer.

“It depends on the context,” Gay said.

“It does not depend on the context,” Stefanik shot back. “The answer is yes, and this is why you should resign. These are unacceptable answers across the board.”

The explosive exchange between a stunned Stefanik and Gay went viral.

Take a look —

Critics pounced on the stunning video.

Here are some of the reactions, from jokes to calls for Gay’s resignation, to the hypocrisy of the university —

I don’t know who needs to hear this but @EliseStefanik single handedly destroyed Harvard.

Incredible work from a rising star in the Trump-Republican party.
