A Democratic Party leader is vowing she is “reclaiming her sexuality” and “reclaiming the American flag” by striking a deal with Playboy… after it was revealed she was a sex worker for years.
Courtney Casgraux, 41, worked at a BDSM dungeon as a Dominatrix in downtown New York City throughout her 20s and 30s, it was revealed on social media this week.
Casgraux charged clients at the Manhattan club $500 an hour, and returned to sex work as recently as the 2020 lockdowns while staying in New York with a friend.
Casgraux, who is running for a U.S. House seat in Oregon, said she first responded to the uncovered footage of her years as a Dominatrix at the underground sex club with panic.
“I was like, ‘Who did this?’ and I just started calling every single person that I pretty much knew from my past … I was like hyperventilating, crying,” Casgraux told the New York Post.
But now, Gasgraux — a mother of a teenage boy — said she is embracing her “raunchy past” by posing nude with Playboy and selling the pictures online for $150 apiece.
“Once [the leaked video] came out and I got the Playboy page, I was like, ‘Oh my God, I feel like I can just be me.’ And I could say the things that I wanna say, and I can be funny and be tongue-in-cheek with things, and reclaim my sexuality,” Casgraux said.
Casgraux is looking to unseat Rep. Suzanne Bonamici, R-Ore., in Oregon’s 1st congressional district.
