Baseball legend Reggie Jackson says he has a lot of regrets — being a “serial cheater” is one of them.

Mr. October came clean to liberal radio shock jock Howard Stern on Wednesday that an upcoming Amazon Prime documentary on him will reveal a lot of secrets.

Frequently infidelity with women is one of his biggest regrets, Jackson admitted.

Stern asked if it was hard to Jackson to open his heart to women. No, he replied… but it was hard to stay faithful.

“It wasn’t hard for me to open my heart, but it was hard for me to be loyal,” Jackson admitted. “As a man, I cheated a lot.”

“I won’t blame it on any excuse,” he said. “I just cheated.”

“I saw a pretty girl, and I tried to sleep with her,” Jackson said. He said just because he was a famous athlete was no excuse for his frequent infidelity.

“I won’t blame it on that either,” he said. “I won’t blame it on that. I had access and I took advantage of it, and I missed a couple of wonderful ladies in my life, and it was my fault.”

Since his playing days, Jackson said he was blessed with a family and has been able to restrain from straying.

“I have a wonderful daughter,” he said. “I wasn’t married when I had her, but what an unbelievable experience. And she’s given me two grandchildren. Two boys, and one of the kids, the poor son of a gun, he looks just like me.”

He also talked to Stern about his currently relationship with a woman he’s known for three decades.

“She’s a tremendous friend, I love the life and spending time with her,” he said.

Now a special adviser for the New York Yankees, Jackson hit 563 home runs in his career, including 144 with the Yankees from 1977-81. He was known for being particularly good in the playoffs, helping the Yankees defeat the Los Angeles Dodgers in both the 1977 and 1978 World Series.
