Joe Biden tried to erase these 47-words (but we got it)

President Joe Biden tried to delete this social media post — but not before we grabbed it.

On Biden’s official Twitter account, the president claimed to have shipped 70,000 tons of baby formula from Europe to Indiana on a military cargo plane.

It was misinformation — and after critics pounced on Operation Fly Formula, the post was deleted. It was later updated to clarify that the shipment was 70,000 pounds of formula.

Official @POTUS account tweets the U.S. is receiving 70,000 tons of baby formula. Actually it’s 70,000 pounds, so less than 40 tons. Now deleted. Not before it was spread by various blue checks.

“The Biden admin created this mess…but sure, folks, take a bow,” responded Julie Gunlock, the director of Independent Women’s Network, a conservative women’s group.

One critic noted that parents in the U.S. use approximately $3.6 billion in baby formula annually, and 70,000 pounds represents just $1.5 million worth of formula — or a four-hour supply.

“The government causing a baby formula bottleneck with ridiculous regulations and then causing a baby formula shortage with incompetence and then acting like a hero for flying in baby formula is the most government thing in the history of government things,” wrote Jessie Kelly, a radio host.

“So basically it’s a one and half truckloads of formula to help 1/2 of the US,” replied another user.

“Only this White House could attempt to make virtue out of its incompetence,” said Heritage Foundation’s James Carafano.

“You have officially turned our great country into Blanche DuBois, unstable and completely reliant on the kindness of strangers,” Fox News’ Tammy Bruce said.

“Just like a third-world country, flying in foreign aid,” one user replied.

“How bad are things under Joe Biden?” wrote the Heritage Foundation’s John Cooper. “We have to fly in baby formula from Germany to make sure American babies don’t starve.”
