Meet the new Ocasio-Cortez: AOC 2.0

If you think Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and her “Squad” of Democratic Socialists are far-Left, wait until you meet version 2.0.

State Rep. Summer Lee, D-Pa., is running to replace retiring Rep. Mike Doyle, D-Pa.

Doyle, a moderate Democrat that ranked as one of the more bipartisan members of the 114th Congress, has served the Pittsburgh area for 27 years.

Lee, on the other hand, represents the more recent version of the Democratic Party’s agenda.

She is outspokenly in favor of radical positions like abolishing prisons, reparations for slavery, socialized “Medicare-for-All” medicine and the redistribution of wealth.

Instead of "thanking" Black women, Black voters, and especially, Black organizers…

… give us the investments we need and deserve, redistribute wealth, ends police violence, abolish the carceral state, commit to building Black directed political power… and reparations.

Like Ocasio-Cortez, Lee has been endorsed by a who’s-who of far-Left lawmakers including Sens. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., and Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass.

Her rise to power within the Democratic Party mirrors Ocasio-Cortez’ as well — they both defeated popular establishment lawmakers in unexpected upsets in the 2018 Democratic primary, Fox News noted.

“Ocasio-Cortez defeated former Rep. Joe Crowley, D-N.Y., whom many predicted would become Speaker of the House before his surprise primary upset, to secure her seat in Congress,” Fox News reported. “Lee also defeated a long-standing incumbent, primarying Democrat former Pennsylvania state Rep. Paul Costa and ending his two-decade career in the state legislature.”

Lee appears poised to cruise to victory in the 2022 Democratic primary. Local polls have her up 25 points over more moderate rivals in the upcoming election.

After her win, Lee will run in a heavily-gerrymandered Democratic district where her general election victory is all but certain.

Ocasio-Cortez, move over.

There’s a new far-Left Democratic lawmaker that is about to take all the headlines.
