The most powerful organization fighting to throw President Donald Trump out of office next November isn’t the Democratic Party, or the antifa movement — and it’s definitely not Joe Biden’s weak presidential campaign.
It’s the liberal media — and a new study shows that journalists’ bias in the Trump era has risen to insane levels.
Almost every single question that journalists asked had an anti-Trump agenda! The Media Research Center watched every hour of programming on CNN and MSNBC — 540 hours in all — and it found two major ways the networks twisted coverage to fit their socialist agenda.
They found that as much as 97% of questions were biased!
They found that when Democratic congressmen are on the networks, the reporters asked them friendly questions 81% of the time… questions that let them communicate their Trump-smearing message even clearer.
But when Republicans get on the set, it’s a totally different story.
These “journalists” asked Republicans hostile questions 97% of the time.
When the GOP gets to speak, reporters put them on the defensive and look to Democrats to interfere and interject.
Here’s an example of how media elites change the tempo based on which side they’re interviewing… on the same topic.
For example, when MSNBC asked North Dakota Republican Kelly Armstrong about impeaching President Trump, the host started off by saying “there are 10 potential instances here of obstruction of justice involving the President of the United States.”
In the real world, the Mueller Report found no criminal wrong doing whatsoever… but MSNBC just had to get that Democrat talking point in!
Compare that to the same network’s softball question to a Democrat — the short-lived presidential candidate Eric Swalwell.
Chris Matthews, who used to work for congressional Democrats, asked Swalwell what would happen if the president took some federal funds to build the Wall on the Southern border.
“Is that an article of impeachment? Is that a high crime?” he asked.
Whatever the subject is, whoever the guest is, whatever the evidence shows, the media just can’t stop fantasizing about impeaching Donald Trump.
When Wolf Blitzer asked a Pennsylvania Republican congressman about the federal “shut down,” Wolf doubted whether Trump really “understands the financial hardships these Americans and their families are about to go through.”
Funny, he never asks if millionaires like Bernie Sanders or Nancy Pelosi “really understand the financial hardship American taxpayers and their families are about to go through” if their Big Government, tax-hiking agenda passes.
If the biased questions weren’t bad enough, there’s another sneaky way the media tilts their viewers’ to the left: They have on more Democrats than Republicans…a lot more.
1,300% more, to be specific!
“Our analysts found an overwhelming partisan bias on MSNBC, where congressional Democrats were interviewed 13 times more often than their GOP counterparts,” Bill D’Agostino and Rich Noyes of the MRC wrote.
CNN was “still wildly-imbalanced,” with Democrats getting invited to the set four-times as often as members of the GOP.
That means Democrats, who hold 7% more seats in Congress than Republicans, are 700% more likely to appear on CNN or MSNBC. Does that sound fair and balanced?!
“This huge disparity would mean less if the networks conducted equally tough interviews with each side, but that’s not what our team found,” MRC wrote.
Democrats also get more than four times as many questions as Republicans… and almost all the questions assume the Democrats are right, that Trump is evil, and the viewer is an idiot.
