President Donald Trump always speaks very highly of our nation’s officers, but what he just did proves he makes showing his respect for them a priority.
Trump was preparing to take off in Air Force One from Indianapolis Wednesday, but when he heard about an injured officer, he delayed the flight.
Officer Turner of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police was part of Trump’s motorcade to the airport, but he crashed his motorcycle on the way.
Before take off, Trump called Turner to wish him well, and the heartwarming moment was caught on tape.
The Indianapolis Police tweeted video Thursday of the phone call.

Tuner broke an ankle when he fell off his bike on Interstate 70, but appeared to be in fair condition upon his call with the president.
The White House reported Trump made the call to check on Turner’s condition and thank him for his service.
